- Late 1950'/early 1960's training film by US manufacturer Walter Kidde showing correct selection and use of:
- gas cartridge water & soda acid
- chemical foam
- gas cartridge and stored pressure BC dry powder (chemical)
- CO2
- pump action CTC (Carbon Tetrachloride)
on various classes of fire.
There is a guest appearance near the start of a fixed CO2 total flooding extinguishing system as used in transformer and generator rooms and other high risk industrial processes.
Love the intro music and the suits.
I wish Kidde made better fire extinguishers such as these
Great video. Any chance you would have this on a DVD for purchase. I have one each of the vintage fire extinguishers shown (except foam unit) in the video and they have been restored and are all functional.
Thank you
I only have digital media format files (mp4, avi, wma) with files transferred from original VHS tapes and 16mm film, that's the only format I have for onward transfer
@@contactacb Great video. Let me know if you eventually have DVD versions for sale. I will be your first customer. mosweiler@cox.net
