Over two thousand works? That's quite prolific! It is said that Simon Sechter had more than 5k but it seems most of it has been lost. Glad this didn't happen with a good chunk of this composer's work... Great interpretation, as always!
Of all the Chopin clones that exist, this is the most Chopiny I've heard. Which is meant as a compliment, because most composers for piano have emulated Chopin to at least some degree, and success is more impressive than non-success. The chord structure is definitely a bit more American than Chopin, though.
Благодарю Вас! Как всегда - со вкусом!
Number one from the Album of Six Pieces, published in 1913. Charming, Edwardian, and perfect for Wednesday afternoon Ladies Music Clubs everywhere.
Let's hope my students will appreciate it too.
There are so many nice unknown piano pieces...
Feels like the end of an era, and the beginning of something new in the innocent young days of Hollywood.
Musica molto delicata e raffinata.
Thank you for thisand for the discovery. What a beautiful piece. I never heard of this composer before
Mr. Gamma, you have embraced the composer's soul by playing this piece so tenderly and with an amazing musicality. Thanks.
Благодарю! Как всегда: прекрасное предложение!

Great interpretation, as always!
If anyone wrote lyrics for this beautiful piece, it could become a very melodic and albeit slightly old-fashioned, a very memorable song/romance.
👏👏👏💐
Similar melody to Chopin's late Nocturne in E major :)
