I never really played silent hill as a kid but ever since Silent hill 2 remake was released, I've been learning more about the lore and I've gotten into SH :)
See, this is a perfect example of the benefits of remaking older games! It brings in new players and it prompts them to explore the rest of the series (: I'm glad you're getting into the lore and hope you like what you've experienced
@@AliLiz91That or give proper remaster or port of classic games. After all not everyone will get the chance to play every game in existence. Hell theres a lot of classics i never got to play and only just have thanks to remakes, remasters, or ports of gaming classics.

"God" was not only the hardest SH boss but also the hardest boss I've ever bought in any horror game. I remember I almost gave up, but I gave it another try more than a month later and finally beat it.
Apart from Incubus on New Fear/Game Plus and Hard levels, I can agree with the other ones. Most of them just take some time to learn their combat patterns to beat them.
The only sh boss i found to be really difficult was "god", which i needed to cheese with save states when i tried beating it on hard because it was so difficult lol
The hardest was the fat kid in the meat locker. Mostly because he's darting arround unrealistically fast, so its hard to shoot him. And James, in comparison, is agonizingly slow when running. And all of the fat kids bullets seemed to have heat seaking technology, as it didnt matter how much i ran or dodged, I still got hit with every shot. Its a common flaw in video games, dodging and blocking mechanics needs to be improved. I get so tired of pressing the block/ dodge button, and still getting hit. Every other boss in Silent Hill was surprisingly easy, but the fat kid was STUPID level difficult, even on easy setting.
Try it on hard mode. Took me almost half an hour and i just managed to beat them after using up my last health packs and had no rifle/shotgun ammo left
I played the entire series and I cherish it beyond belief. The only boss that I encountered that can be genuinely considered hard is Walter Sullivan. You had to beat an unbeatable intimidating monster using a percentage of your inventory slots (considering that you need vacant ones to pick up the spears that impale the mother/true walter).
I'd roast the fact that I've beaten the God pretty easily, but I've only played SH 3 on normal so IDK if there's a huge difference on hard. But I'm surprised Eddie from the remake didn't make the cut. He had me cursing on normal.
That Tyrant is extremely easy. After the cutscene, stay still, don't move around the plane, just quickly shoot 3 green grenades and 10 explosive arrows. Then turn a little to press the button next to Claire. It's over in a matter of seconds.
SH3 was really stressful as far being able to see. The game is so damn dark I found myself not really enjoying the playthroughs. Just ready to get it over with. Super overrated . Good list though
I think it's a good game that pushed PS2's hardware a lot, but yeah, people overestimate how good this game really is. I think SH 1 is more terrifying in it's whole existence because of the fact that everything makes you feel uneasy or at least see that the game has a bizarre atmosphere.
I haven’t played the remake, but I beat the original silent hill 2 and I was filled up with stuff lmao, but I played on normal the last time I played about a year ago so that might be why.

Honestly, none of the Silent Hill bosses are hard to beat.

Scarlet was the boss fight I had most trouble with. Comparable to the tyrant from RE Code Veronica.

Silent Hill homecoming final boss to me was the easiest boss in the game. Unlike Scarlet or asphyxia I defeated this boss on the first try.

I think the remake Maria is definitely a hard one especially due to the 3 phases and you will likely be low on resources after pryamid heads boss
