The crowd were chanting something but when he lifts the mic closer to his face, the crowd just went quiet like there's a dial somewhere that turns them off. That's honestly impressive. I always loved Christian, glad he's getting the love he deserves. So underrated

Sting IS a big deal. He won the title from Ric Flair in June or July 1990 in Baltimore...to his days dealing with the nWo...Sting won the strap when I graduated high school. I remember it like it was yesterday.

What a time to be a wrestling fan. From watching since the Monday Night Wars to this, is honestly a blessing to even witness. There are wrestling fans from the generation that watched these two debut that will never get to witness these amazing segments, let alone the moments they’re about to create. You don't realize just how friggin huge Adam is until you see him standing face to face with one of AEW's biggest wrestlers. I met him briefly backstage at a show during the Attitude Era. Dude's a monster. A lot of wrestlers exaggerate their height, but Edge is every bit of the 6'5" he's listed at.
Glad AEW decided to put up an uncensored version, it takes an already amazing segment up a notch by letting us experience the same impact it had for the arena crowd.
In the Edge DVD a while back, Adam shows why he's one of the most humble people in wrestling. He said on the DVD, "I always introduced myself as Adam Copeland, I never introduced myself as Edge." A true class act. By the way, Christian's real name is Jason Reso. Jason is actually his middle name but he goes by Jay. Him and Adam have known each other since they were kids, they grew up together in Canada.
Man, if you've have long time best friends, then you *know* Adam and Jay have probably sat around brainstorming a program versus one another for a long, long time. I'm really excited to see what they have probably been cooking for decades!
They had a whole program for Edge's retirement that they never did. Christian was going to cost Edge the tittle against Del Rio in a rematch and they were going to feud all year until a retirement match at Mania where Edge would put Christian over.
I loved the part about him knowing the feeling of having the knowledge sucked out of him then being betrayed- that's a reference to the Judgement Day- and perhaps even a case or two of real-life stuff. We'll never know that part if it's true cuz Adam's a true pro and would never talk shit about someone.

I wouldn’t say most expressive…but most genuine. I feel like a lot of wrestlers really overdo their expressions. Christian’s a master at doing enough so that the cameras and audience pick it up, but not so much as it looks like overblown acting.
This was really cool! I enjoyed this, I have seen Team 3D, The Hardy’s together and now Adam and Christian! It would be cool to see them as the AEW world tag team champions but unfortunately I don’t see that happening.

Christian still has the most expressive facials in the business. His looks tell a story without a word, making his words mean more when he does say them
I wouldn’t say most expressive…but most genuine. I feel like a lot of wrestlers really overdo their expressions. Christian’s a master at doing enough so that the cameras and audience pick it up, but not so much as it looks like overblown acting.

This was really cool! I enjoyed this, I have seen Team 3D, The Hardy’s together and now Adam and Christian! It would be cool to see them as the AEW world tag team champions but unfortunately I don’t see that happening.
