This is the bike I use everyday to go to work, out to eat, anything within 10 miles. It will get you up to 25 miles with using mainly 1-2 pedal assist, using 5 or going 800watts plus will give you 15 miles roughly. The back rack can hold anyone 125lbs and under. Great bike I have over 400 miles on it and I love it.
Maybe this is a silly question, but when you change gears on the bike, does this affect the output speed of the electric motor? Intuitively, to me having never ridden one, I feel like it would but I don't know!
Been researching so much and the choices can be overwhelming with all the different components and performance. Some sellers insist that only a $4000+ bike is worth buying. But your videos tell a different story and I am enjoying watching you try out less expensive bikes. It will help me tons make the best choice for my needs. Thanks a bunch and all the best from Canada!
Yeah that's total bs.....paid $1300 for my freesky himilaya and has 750 watts bafang motor, Shimano 7 gears, hydraulic front brakes, 15ah Samsung battery, and top speed of 32-25. So that's bs lol
AFTER you ride a more expensive bike, the benefits emerge. Smooth shifting, torque sensors, duel suspension, smoother acceleration, and quality feel on rough paths.
This is the type I would recommend to riders new to e-bikes.....all-terrain and entry-level cost....almost no proprietary parts and you can re-sell at a smallish loss if you want to upgrade.
Ye I think I’m going to get one because if I don’t like it I’ll just sell it for loss 😢 and get a custom one😂 no one will answer me on offer up so gonna get a brand new one ☝️
@@elipatton9625 ok….but why not just buy a better bike from the get go and save yourself the hassle. The biggest problem with this bike is the short range. Consider the dozens of other options out there with double or triple the range with more power and better build quality.
Looks good. I've been thinking about upgrading to a fat tire e bike. Thanks for a great review. Like that you took it on all sorts of different terrain. Seemed to perform adequate for a budget bike.
Thank you TailHappyTV for the excellent video and the introduction to TRUCKRUN ebike systems! We are committed to providing modular motors and continually improving our supply chain system and quality control system, allowing more people to participate in ebike riding activities. The Aostirmotor S07-B uses TRUCKRUN's RW11 motor, designed specifically for all-terrain ebikes. We hope you enjoy it! 🤜🤛😄
I actually think the external battery is a huge plus not a minus. I just bought a 52v battery for my bike and because it's a standard battery plate it was easy to obtain. The problem with anything that is proprietary or integrated is once the battery goes you might as well throw the bike out. Who knows if it will even be in business when you want to buy another battery or even if that model or battery is even supported anymore. If it can be changed out easily you can ride for years. Also if you're going to swap it out for a 52v immediately. Why pay more for a huge battery you're going to replace on day 1? Hell I wish they sold e-bikes with NO battery for a lot cheaper with a standard battery plate(Hailong 1, Hailong 1-2, Hailong G80, etc) and I'll get my own. Also I don't mind mechanical disc brakes because you can swap them out for cable actuated hydraulic calipers for pretty cheap which will give you about 75% of a full hydraulic setup which is still overkill for a bike under 100 lbs and pay $40 bucks, not $120 or even more because if your buying it as part of the bike so they are probably charging you $200+ so they can make a profit.
I had this bike for 2 seasons now. Very satisfied. I put Owings over the battery mount holder to the frame. Prvrents the battery from wobbling around. I find to pulles the same on pedel assist power level 1 -5. Does anyone know a fix for this? Also, peddle assist, don't cut out after you stop peddle for quite a while. A 7 dollar merror and a rear break light are a great purchase to give it a safer ride.
I found one on Amazon that the Chinese vendor accidentally listed for $88.00 dollars. I bought it up and a few hours after they sold it to me, they realized their mistake and took the listing down. I called Amazon and told them that I wanted them to honor the sale. They said that they would! We shall see! Update: The bike shipped!
I dont recommend dealing with this company. Maybe you got a good one and that might be because they knew it would be used in a youtube review. I bought one and it lasted all of 2 days before the battery started smoking and melted the case. It stopped working and left me stranded miles from home with the heaviest bike I ever pedaled. Also it never went over 550 watts even though it was advertised as a 750. Dealing with their support was very difficult and it seemed that they were trying to stall me past the Amazon guarantee period. After all was said they offered me $50. I would have accepted a new battery and carrier but after corresponding with them I decided it was best to wash my hands of it. Somehow they just could not understand that the bike simply did not work. I gave them until the last day and then returned it for a refund. I am thankful that it broke down as soon as it did otherwise I would have been out of luck if it happened after day 30. Now that Amazon charges for returns I feel it is too risky to buy any ebike from them and would never deal directly with the foreign company that sells them because at least Amazon kept them honest. The lesson learned is that I need to spend more money and deal with a local reputable store who can actually offer service after the sale. None of the local shops will work on any ebike bought on the internet. My advice to anyone thinking about buying an ebike over the internet is, unless you are very handy with bikes, to first see if you can find a local shop that will be willing to fix it after the inevitable break down.
So I got this one about a month ago after watching this video and I absolutely love it. I do have one question for you who seem far more knowledgeable than myself about this sort of thing, I want to upgrade the battery what's the biggest one you can take for this motor? And will upgrading the battery only upgrade my range or my speed as well?
Awesome! Glad you hear you’re enjoying it! Two requirements for compatibility: make sure voltage is the same as the stock battery (48v battery I believe) Make sure it will physically fit in the space. I’d probably look at a 20ah battery, this should give you a huge range boost, and also add a decent chuck of weight to the bike. You might see a minimal boost in max speed but I wouldn’t expect much, Speed will be limited by either the controller or the cells max discharge rate, whichever is less. You’ll be able to hold higher average speed though. Hope this helps!
Great video!!! I bought the S07-B last month and have certainly enjoyed it. A couple of complaints, there's no owner's nor maintenance manual included. The number of bike shops in my area are far and few. Comes with a 'Quick Guide' but that isn't very informative. I like the bike... it's solid on the road. Just wish customer service was a bit more forthcoming.... they are polite but it's like having to pull teeth out of a dragon to get answers! Might be language issues, I'm not sure. If you can do a video on expanding the basic maintenance and figuring out the computer settings... that would be most helpful too. My gear shifting is totally out-of-wack.
I discovered that very few bike shows will work on these mail order ebikes. You may get parts from the company, but it's up to you to install them and make fixes.
Solid bike. I’m getting this bike because my Aventon Adventure was stolen and forgot to put the tracker back on the Aventon. Can’t afford another one as a high schooler 😂. Surprised with how this bike handled I just hate the look.
I've been looking at a similar fat tire ebike. It's called an Osoeri but it looks like it uses basically all the same parts that this bike uses, and it's only 499$. Comes with a Bafang 750w motor and a 16aH battery. Think it's worth pulling the trigger? Company is based in the US as well so I assume they import them in bulk and re-sell.
What name brand is the motor and battery on this bike? seems like what I'm looking for but not Bafang or LG, and I have been told that is what I should be looking for! I really like your reviews!!
Yeah, it’s a cadence sensor, so as long as you’re moving the pedals at any rate, and not even putting in work, it will turn the motor on. A torque sensor will actually measure how hard you’re pressing on the pedals and give you input based on your level of effort, these are generally found on more expensive bikes
obviously but its pointless to pedal slowly when you have run out of gearing. its also annoying to pedal at anything less than a natural cadence and resistance.

First week of owning this exact bike the battery fell out, I thought maybe I didn't lock it in correctly because no way would this brand new bike be defective. Now getting ahold of customer service was a challenge in itself, when I did get ahold of someone the issue was never resolved, and still isn't to this day even after threatening legal actions including informing the better business bureau. Yeah the larger the wheel the less rolling resistance and the least effort in peddling and on the motor to get you the same distance as a smaller tire but you need one on the back and the front

@@TailHappyTV So kept working on it, removed controller and pulled wires from frame, main plug to display had been connected in the wrong spot. Corrected that and my display finally came on but now I have an error 30 message showing...any ideas?
So...the continuing saga...in case you need a laugh...I got a response finally from the seller, asking me to send pictures of the screen, the controller, and now the back of the display... anything they can do to not admit fault for a shoddy bike... however I figured it will cost more to send it back and only get 85percent refund than to keep it and throw on a new motor, controller etc. Do now I'm just seeing if they send me a new controller for free...
I think the word "cheap" is really bad used in the cycling world. Bicycles had raised their prices a lot in the last two decades and, electric bicycles, even more, surpasing motorcycles or, even, used cars.
It went together easily in less than an hour. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Make sure the front fork is forward or the pedals will hit the front tire. Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.
This isn't the cheapest on Amazon I just bought one of the cheapest on Amazon it's a Speedrid Electric Bike 26" x 4" Fat Tire Electric Bike it's a 500 watt motor 10 AH battery and the only videos I've found on it are ai generated wish me luck 🤞

the news is completely untrustworthy. dont let fear/hatemongers do their job on you. I cant even fathom how anyone takes "the news" seriously these days. cheap chinese batteries with quality china cells are fine, just not as efficient per weight as better lg/samsung etc and may not get as many cycles. some chemistries are more unstable than others and none are without risk, expensive included. the build quality of the battery also comes into play but more money doesnt guarantee a better built battery. batteries/bikes should be charged in the right environment, shielded/ kept away from things that may catch fire. a fire blanket isnt a bad idea. as long as they are given space to burn out, you shouldnt have it burn your house down. ideally a place where fumes can be vented like a garage as well. if has to be in house, tile floor, near a window with a fire blanket over should be pretty safe should the highly unlikely happen.
I'm right there with you brother homeless in santone tx not surprised by the the lack of offers though people these days have gone sociopathic, they've lost their human empathy that's the definition of a sociopath by the way but don't worry a huge shift in the world's collective consciousness is gonna bring us to a level one civilisation where equality will be the norm

some chemistries are more unstable than others and none are without risk, expensive included. the build quality of the battery also comes into play but more money doesnt guarantee a better built battery.
batteries/bikes should be charged in the right environment, shielded/ kept away from things that may catch fire. a fire blanket isnt a bad idea.
as long as they are given space to burn out, you shouldnt have it burn your house down. ideally a place where fumes can be vented like a garage as well.
if has to be in house, tile floor, near a window with a fire blanket over should be pretty safe should the highly unlikely happen.
or charge batts in a tool box or metal enclosure that is left open or is vented with holes and a pc fan.
China makes all our batteries Samsung? WHich Chinese batteries are you referring to roughly
