I’d like to see him play the 4 for KU. Utilize him In the same way Josh Jackson, Svi, and Jalen Wilson were used. I’m sorry KJ…. I think you’re gonna get demoted. I love how KU is targeting highly aggressive players in the portal. Mayo, Kugel, Storr…. and I’ve heard Ryland Griffin is a lock. Dynamic, aggressive players are exactly what we need. We had too many one dimensional players this past season.

And almost lost us the game by mindlessly dribbling out of bounds for absolutely no reason with 30 seconds left. Thank God for Remy 🙏🏼… Your acting like he had anything to do with winning that game. And then he actually gets worse over the next 2 seasons? He was DOMINATED by opposing guards all season long. Had 20 pieces dropped on him all season long. Check the stats. Game by game. I did. They are absolutely pathetic. Obviously this is just my opinion, but Mayo is a far superior player. I’m sure he would have had at least 20 plus on Dajuan if we had played them. It’s obviously not difficult. And don’t get me wrong… I like KJ a lot. But he doesn’t fit along side Hunter. I wish more than anything he could make a bucket outside of 5 feet. But he just can’t. That doesn’t fit next to a 7’2 slow center who is also most effective 5 ft from the basket. Hey listen we’re both die hard Jayhawk fans…. Rock Chalk! but I’m not interested in having another season like this last one. And Do you honestly believe Hunter and KJ fit together better than Storr and Hunter would? I agree that’ll be the starting lineup to begin the year. Bill Self is very loyal to his players. But he’s not stupid. We were the unanimous number one team in the country last preseason….. we finished 5th! In the Big 12. we will be the preseason number one team again this season. And honestly you’re basically saying let’s just run it back. Great idea! Agree to disagree…. Rock Chalk brother. Let’s hope for the best! But I guarantee our best lineup will not include Dajuan, KJ, and Hunter together. And Hunter is for sure starting.
