Pretty sure it’s issue with sims game thinking you can only have 8 slots in the household I have no idea how you even manage to get cat pregnant you can see family tree with pet control mod

She just kept getting sadder and sadder as you sold all her kittens.

I did something similar, except with puppies, and I'd also have my sim kill off the sims who buy from her so the puppies can "take over" their house

They sell for more depending on traits and training. Sold a puppy for 5k once because she had all good traits and was fully trained/conditioned
Can we just appreciate how much she uploads, and the content is just amazing! And the amount of effort she puts in just to make us happy! She truly is extremely underrated!

Do they sell for more if they are trained or taught a few things? I believe it was that way in the Sims 2 but I’m not sure ☺️

Omg I had no idea you could sell them. I wanted to try breeding kittens but instead of selling I was putting them up for adoption and getting a sad moodlet. Should’ve checked more options
I've actually asked this question so many times but cats can be so... SSOOOOOO SO SO agonizing. Like I had to "Convince to Mate with..." so many times before I could get a litter of kits. And then ofc in vanilla, it then takes forever for the cat the look pregnant and give birth. It'd be a full time job of encouraging the cats the breed and then waiting for a whole Sim year to go by lmao

I've made sims for this too and could hardly ever get the pets to mate. They would always wind up disliking some or even all of the other potential mates. And not being able to control the pets (without mod) just makes it so much more annoying. So I kept the sims in town but stopped playing them.
@Lizz Alkula yeah without making them above 85% fertile it's unrealistically hard to get ur cats/dogs to breed
Having a strong relationship with both pets plus having toys around or things they can both interact with helps increase your chance of success
I've never tried breeding anything but horses an old frogs. Now I gotta try cats and dogs 😂

You can, but if you give your Sim the cat lover trait, they will get a hefty sad moodlet from missing them.

I hope you go on here again and click on the adopt a pet option to see if they were listed. I thought you were going to do that here lol. This was cool. I always look for creative ways to make money in this game. Right now my current sim was homeless and made money playing music until she could produce CDs on the music station and gain tons of royalties from her label. So far she's made 25 "albums" and rakes in over 260k.

Does anyone know how long the sad mood buff lasts with selling pets? I have never been able to sell them. I just go into manage world/ manage households and pass them to other friends and family

I've just been watching SimmerErin's latest speculation video and in it she mentions a royalty mod. The way she describes it it is a huge mod. I was wondering if you'd ever seen one like it. I'm not sure if the mod was linked in her video description though

how do you get pets in sims4? do you need a mod or a pack?
Cats & dogs pack for cats, dogs and cottage living for cows, lamas, rabbits, foxes.
Get cash by making cats do the do, and then taking their babies and selling them.

Does anyone have a fix for my pets never having successful mating? I’ve tried for months 😂 They always fight and never get pregnant
i had to try a few times for my sims dog to get pregnant, using the “be friendly to…” interaction before encouraging to mate helps your chances i believe.
one or two kittens in a litter? unrealistic :P

I’m happy you used the name ‘Mila’ It my real name and I don’t hear it much.
Edit: there’s also a trick where you can control the pets! Press Shift + Alt + G (I think) Then in the mods chat box say ‘testing heats true’ and then say ‘pets.toggle_selectable_pets’ and bam you can control you pets!
as an actual cat breeder myself i really loved this & how accurate it is 😭 its really hard selling the kittens tho you need to try not to get attached to them too much or you’ll become so sad just like your sim 🥲
