One of my coworkers said "I made it 40 minutes into this before I realized they were talking about a game". That's a testament to the accuracy of the source materials reinterpretation.
Holy mother of the goddess... I usually learn a lot from these Mage videos, but never anything so historical and relevant to what I actually study. This is some craziness that has literal practical application to my life. Probably the best podcast episode yet.
Thanks for the cast! Just a note, ctrl+shift+v removes formatting from text as you paste it, dunno if that would have worked in your situation. (You probably know, but just in case)
City of Mist, Mage/WoD and Kult together form one big multicomplex metaphysical prison. And "Religion For Breakfast" helps with stories for it, great channel.
It does have that bit to it. Apophasis is a religious idea that pops up both in the poem and in the beliefs that inform the Batini in terms of using negation to clear space for paradox to let in belief.

Also, the Elder Scrolls series is as gnostic as it gets. Great inspiration for Mage campaigns in WoD, after a few tweaks.
@@Stathmin"Am I the dream or the dreamer?"
Vivec: Yes.
"The Thunder, Perfect Mind" is very reminiscent of the Doctrine of Unity (or, more probably, vice versa).

What for being a lady and such.
