Good video. I am in Scotland, got the same bike. I have Honda’s own canvas saddle bags, pricey, but good quality.
Shad is excellent quality, from watch other videos. The spare key barrel, will be if you get a top box, so the same key fits all.

Just a thought....take some black electrical tape and create some temporary black racing stripes to compliment the rest of the bike. I'm thinking maybe a double stripe to look best. If looks bad, just pull the tape off but at least you will get an idea of what some black racing stripes would look like. Cheers.

the bags look good. i have the Viking leather medium lockable bags on my 2019, along with a rear fender rack. without bags you would have to wear a back pack. good job.
I really wanted to give Viking bags another chance but the ones I got were just too big. Yess, it just makes the whole riding experience a lot more enjoyable!
I recently purchased a 2019 rebel 300 and went on a camping trip. I had to carry a backpack and bag tied down with my camping gear. It was brutal. I want to have the bags that look like hand bags Installed but I like these bags better. How much did they run you and I like the way they look. I like that you can lock them too.

I like the look of the Shad ones, but out of curiosity, what were the original Viking bags you installed and decided were too large? I'm looking at solo motocamping, and they looked like they would be ideal for that and daily riding.
Hello there, The Viking bags that I bought initially was product number 54849 (Viking Warrior Large Honda Rebel 500 ABS Shock Cut-out Leather Motorcycle Saddlebags). I really should have gone with a smaller model of them but would have been less than 20L on each bag.

You're STILL from the Middle East!👍 I've grown up with people from the Middle East since 4th grade, have learned a lot of the customs, yet, not all! I find myself very much "at home" in a Chalean house-hold. To me, Arabic, is a beautiful language to hear spoken. I haven't heard it spoken in 35 years and I miss it terribly! I'm 58 years young now, you were just starting.iddle school(6-8 grades 35 years ago) yes, that makes you 40-47 years of age I guess! I found out-through my family tree that I have middle eastern heritage! Now I understand why I've had such a desire for the language, customs and the people. To get a Rebel motorcycle for myself-I think those SH23 bags will be just right for me! I might be interested in getting the bike in red!😁😎 Hope to hear from you soon! I don't know why people avoid saying where they are from and they go back to history . like some Lebanese saying they are Phoenicians or Algerians saying they are Kabil.... Mr Jafari you should be proud of your origins and Persia doesn't exist anymore it is called Iran now and it is in the Middle East. Iran is a country with a lot of solid history.

Hello there, I just checked and these bags have no issues with the OEM Mufflers. there are at least 5-6 inches of clearance.
I have Them on my Rebel. No problems
Are the bags wider than the handlebars?
They are actually almost flushed if not narrower than the handlebars.

My modular won't fit in it, I can try a full face too but I doubt it.
