- Visiting the winery built underwater, we travel to one of the most breathtaking wineries I’ve been to this year.
➡️ Zlatan Otok was established in the beginning of 1986, and started selling wine in 1989.
Their primary vineyards are located on the southern slopes of the island Hvar, Croatia and on Makarska vineyards below Mt Biokovo, as well as the vineyard in Šibenik which is owned by their family business Vinoline.
Zlatan Otok has achieved success in various national, international competitions and exhibitions to include: Vinovita Zagreb, Split GAST, WINE Ljubljana, Zurich, Bordeaux, Decanter, Sabatine, Nürnberg, Paris, and many, many more.
➡️ More than one hundred awards, medals and recognitions have been given to this amazing winery. This is validation of their passion, hard work, and tradition of wine making on this beautiful island.

Truly magnificent. Croatia has been getting noticed for their outstanding wines of late.
Came here with my family in 2019. Easily the best soup, best pasta and best wine we have ever tried. Great video, takes me back to an amazing time.

Great episode man, I'm from Croatia and I absolutely love quality of Zlatan Otok wines. I'm only yet to try Zlatan Otok Grand Select, gonna buy bottle or two in few days but I'm totally fascinated with their Crljenak or Zinfandel, just what an amazing wine.

Dan Windler thanks for the feedback brotha. I had braces on way before I even thought to do this journey of beer, wine, and spirits. If I would have known then I would have made other decisions like invisaline. Good thing is I have Two more months left until they are removed and wasn’t going to wait. 2019 no braceface😀😀. Trust me, it bothers me every time I watch the episodes. Braces suck, always painful and I keep more food in them then actually eat. Lol but the end result is what matters. @@drinkdestinations you are soo awsome. I lost my best buddy 3 years ago. I knew him for 18 years.he join the military in 92 and me i join in 95. When I retired in 2016 he passed away. Too bad he wasn't there for my retirement. He drown in front of his kids and wife. I still cry to this day. He is was laid to rest a few blocks away were I work and there is not a day goes by when I cry and miss him. Hopefully one day I get to meet you and have a few beers and the second round is on me. Hopefully you like belgium Duvel and golden Draak with some good scotch weisky shots. Prost, cheers and salud...brother...and congratulations on your retirement. Hopefully if you in south texas like south padre island I will drive there to meet you and share some stories and maybe invite some of my battle buddies that are going to retire soon to be together a drink a few. I recieved alot of respect from some prior Marines that deployed with our army unit and they still respect me because I got my first shoot out with the enemy.
