PAC NW here!!!....About an hour North of Seattle!!......It ain't so bad. At least we get pretty mild Summers compared to the rest of the country.
But if it stayed 30 degrees year round, with 2 feet of snow, I'd be in Heaven.

That’s the best sounding southern jumbo I’ve ever heard sounds quite similar to a hummingbird just a bit more clipped
Obviously, both mahogany guitars the slope shoulder on the southern jumbo, gives it a slightly more pointed sound my opinion

Question for fellow GOTD subscribers. What are the best strings for a parlour size guitar, which has a piezo style pickup ? (It's an S Yairi YEM-22/N). Thanks for any advice.

when i first moved to london and started making "real money" i so wanted a slope 60's j45 but - none was to be had, for whatever reason. i did get hold of a square shoulder j45 (i haven't seen one since) but i never liked it, i don't like square shoulder guitars (i don't know why, a friend has a dreadnought larrivee that's a-mazing) and fortunately i found a slope cherry sunburst 66 j45 around 1978 that i still have today.
i did have a j50 that fell apart so i had it repaired, sprayed and inlayed to look like a fancy advanced jumbo, but it got stolen! serial 858757 no pickguard if anyone should see it...

Rik Antony not really, they were always gimmick. Yah, the picture develops immediately, but the prints were uselessly small. You can't frame and display a Polaroid picture
