I was in high school from 82 to 86. I was heavily into new wave. Such an exciting time to be alive. Now that I’m in my mid-50s, I have a thirst for this music. I find these newer groups just as enjoyable to listen to because they have all of the elements that I remember so long ago. I’ve recently discovered Retro wave. It has a freshness to it. You think you’ve heard it before but you haven’t. I’m looking forward to seeing this band at cruel world. Next month

Im suffering through alcohol addiction and this song gives me hope that i need to get out of this hole i put myself into. i hope anyone reading this gets the help they need. This world has definitely gotten darker and i feel as a collective, humanity is suffering with depression.

People who seem to exude positivity are either exhausting themselves doing so, living a lie, or are so well off the troubles of the world are too distant to bother them yet. I'm pretty severely depressed as well and am also struggling to curb my alcohol consumption, here's to the best for both of us.

Cold Cave is very blatantly and openly inspired by New Order to the point they have a cover of New Orders most popular song. I feel in love with them years ago before ever knowing that and now it just makes me appreciate them more

Never heard of this band until just last night as they opened for The Cult in San Diego. Saw them again tonight and just blown away by the talent. Ryan is solid on the kit. Vocals were hard to hear with the mix, but still enjoyed the performance. Glory and Confetti just resonate with me. I grew up to 80s new wave, synth pop and this brings me back and a forward at the same time. Would love to see them cut a live album.

This band is so underrated. I left psyc furs at a festival to run and see them at another stage. Best decision. Sounded great. And now I'm going to see them at Darker Waves in Huntington Beach. Mye and my two daughters will be front row singing along.
