Additionally, the transfer setup in the tanks can be a little annoying as the return line has junction to the sub or main tank. This gets stuck in one position, which returns fuel to only one tank. mine used to be the main tank, so after driving 250kms on the sub tank, the sub would be empty but the main tank would be over quarter full again.
I loved the redundancy built into the design. 2 fuel pumps that can feed the engine. All the accessory belts are the same, so if you break the one driving the water pump, you can swap in the AC belt and keep going.
The 5vzfe is also non-interference, so if you snap a timing belt, you just line up all the timing marks again, new belt and you are good to go.

425,000 3 litre turbo manual head done at 370,000 timing chain radiator glow plugs done at the same time but ball joints steering rack pump rear main seal need to be replaced it's a 90 series 2000 model I can fix all these things more worried about ks
