It was like McQueen not taking those last tyres, but with different gambling result.

That's the thing we miss in Mordern Era of MotoGP. Pure racing where you don't care what tyre you are on, you just go for it with your grit and grace. Many people may disagree with me, but that's fine. And Brad is one hell of a rider, and he will surely be a Championship contendor next year.

    • @viarnay

Moto gp bikes are crazy fast, wtf, even moto 3 is fast as hell abd that's because of good tyres

@@viarnay I think that's what he's saying. And I think it happened to more than just MotoGP. F1 has been so focused on speed of the vehicle, they forgot about the quality of the racing.

It wasn't just staying out. It was being fast enough. Brad was miles faster than everyone else who stayed out on slicks. Next fastest was Luca Marini and he lost 7 seconds on Brad in 4 laps. So, coming in was the correct decision. If not for the man with balls of steel.

He does not forget where he came from... and also ability to slowly work his way up to the top are abilities KTM sees in him.... So it's a multitude of aspects... and he will one day be world champion... Might even be in 2023.

I love all these people saying they knew Binder was gonna win today. No you f'cking didn't. No one on earth could have predicted that. This race was the epitome of unpredictable, with the conditions changing from one minute to the next, the change of bikes and crashes afterwards. If even Binder had no idea whether the guys in the wets were closer on the last lap, how on earth would it be possible to predict? Even the last sector was sooo sketchy, I was literally hanging on to the edge of my seat willing him to stay up. I have as much claim to having telekinetic powers as you lot have to being psychic!
