When people use a leisurely game like Animal Crossing to try to break a speed record (I know Dagnel didn't), it really shows competitiveness at its finest.
I mean he did 5,000 Nook Miles in 14 minutes, that sounds like some sort of speed record.

@@palupa That doesn't make much sense, if you use an European language it'll say Europe, it should've said Asia at the very least, imagine someone in Hong Kong or Taiwan selects "somewhere else" because they obviously don't live in Japan, that's kind of silly isn't it?
@@TheFrantastic because traditional Chinese is the fastest language to skip dialog with even in this speed run they don't understand anything of what they are saying but it's by memory on which dialogue to skip the person speedrunning is Japanese (there is a huge difference between Japanese and Chinese BTW) because that's where they were born in
Try to pay your debt with just fossils
I don't think that this would be very interesting... i mean you dig up 4 fossils, sell them and pay off debt. One fossil sells for something between 1k bells and 7k bells, so it's not really diversified

As a person having traditional chinese as some sort of my first language, i find it really weird to listen to english but reading chinese at the same time XD

@@leafeon8956 My first language is Cantonese which is a spoken language, its written language is traditional Chinese. Traditional Chinese technically have no official pronunciation

I'm teaching my mom to play animal crossing rn and i am trying to get her tent upgraded to a house so i can connect her to the paths and build her a yard so i'm using this so i can guide her on how to get her house upgraded. Hopefully we can get it upgraded tonight!

日本 Means Japan, I am learning Japanese and know 0% of Chinese so I was surprised to see that when you don't live in Japan, and don't have the language as Japanese, that it thought you lived in Japan.

@@tyler439 u can have multiple nintendo accounts on one switch. when you open the game, it asks you which account you want to use. the island for each nintendo account is separate because of cloud save or sth idk but it works

Wait I got the acnh switch when starting the game but I owned regular black joycons that came with my switch?
if you don't want to delete your world, im pretty sure that just making a new user will allow you to start a new island with deleting your main one
unfortunately that doesn’t work, it just creates another person on the same original island, you can only have one island per switch

FROGGY chair speedrun would be so funny
you can also create an alternative profile on your switch, like I have one literally called "speedruns", so you don't need to throw out 1000s of hours of gameplay
This could work in essence, and you can get almost the same experience out of it, but the official rules for the run require a fresh island, so just doing a separate profile would actually disqualify you from posting the run, if that matters to you.
As a Hong Konger I could understand the language fun fact that nook ask you are you from south japan or north Japan :D

Mmm yes the most optimal way to speed run a video game, you need an extra console so not to delete your island, an $80 pair of controllers, and switch online to skip the k.k cutscene
