    Hi Josh,
Very much appreciated that you took the time to run thru the steps involved.

      Hi Josh,
I understood that you set your torque wrench to 55lbs and your multiplier is 3:1. I noticed you torqued 3 Times to get 165 (3*55), but I thought the multiplier would automatically multiply the 55lbs by 3 (3:1) requiring you to only listen for the audible “click” when the proper torque is reached (same as using only the torque wrench).
I don’t think it changes anything if indeed someone only wanted 165 lbs of torque (3:1*55).
Similar a 4:1 torque multiplier would only require the torque wrench to be set at 100lbs to achieve 400lbs (4:1*100). Of course I don’t include the -10-20%.

Josh, I have a C&C 37+ with a keel smile. Thanks for your bolt torque specs. On my boat the keel nuts that are 2 3/16"
have the bolt sticking 2 inches above the nut. How or where did you find a deep socket of this size that would bit over a 2" stud?

I searched ebay and found all the requisite deep sockets. Check this one out.

Thanks Josh, I assume rig is out when you did this?

Yes. There is at least on bolt you can't get to. Maybe two since they are under the aluminum beam used as the mast foot. For this video the mast was already back in. You're supposed to do the bolt torque on the hard too.

Thanks for the video? Did you get the torque values from your manual or is that a standard for the bolt size? I have an 81 Niagara 31 and I can’t find torque values anywhere

I've linked to my torque specs in the description section.
