Lingards (Bradford) 1996-1997 Mix (11pm-1am)

Calling the original “Friday Night Posse”!
Did you go to Lingards (upstairs -“Ascension”) around 96-97, when Scott Page was playing every Friday night?
I did! Every Friday I was on that stage!
Dancing like a total div, but completely immersed in those tunes.
I met so many amazing people who were there for the music.
We’d walk in and it would be empty but we’d head straight for the stage. Even though it was the “stage” it was right in the corner and it was like a little safety net where you knew cool people were going to be!
We didn’t care that it was just us. We knew that eventually it would be full of the same faces!
So this is part one. The first couple of hours as it just dragged you into the music.
So, fast forward 25 years and one of the projects I’ve been working on is trying to create recreate the essence of walking into a Friday night, right at the start. Taking us from funky to hard and progressive
Obviously, I haven’t included every single tune as certain tunes would come and go depending on popularity, but I’ve picked the ones that were always a mainstay because they were classics.
I know it’s not the same as being there, but I hope it brings back some memories ❤️
