Love the organic streets rather than just all 90* turns and boxed up like everyone else does. Looking forward to seeing more
Indeed, though we may end up with some areas that are grid like, it depends a lot on the terrain.
Started as a log mill and town at the mouth of the river which provided free transport for logs. It has since diversified into fishing and The Trans Atlantic AT&T cable also provided winter time jobs creating a Technology/ IT sector.
I'm actually thinking the island was pretty bare until about 2024, when all of a sudden some developers started to build it up. That way we can match the game calendar at least a little bit.
Love it!
Thanks!!
Is there a way at a certain point to customize your own buildings and skyscrapers? I wanna build a futuristic city based of a 2d render my friend made made 😬
They haven't added custom assets yet, but they will eventually.
@@Czardus i see, hopefully soon🙏🏾😬
What happened to riverwood? Is the econ update making it difficult to make a video?
I had a post/poll about it the other day. 77% of respondents wanted a new series. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxHjXHyEbhyekH542OsuUUzUgNl9oqipcZ
Howdie Czardus, from Allenstown, NH.
Howdy howdy howdy!
Can i name a street? also i think you can name the city Margonville
The name of the island is Timber Ridge Island. At some point I'll start naming more stuff.
Won't people be moving to higher elevations as opposed to islands because of rising sea levels due to climate change
The high end estimates for sea level rise is still under 2 meters, so an island like this should be fine. It’s the very low elevation islands that are at risk, though I read an article last week that said those islands have actually been able to withstand the changes so far without losing overall size.
It’s likely people may choose to relocate to a more northern location though, hence my choice of a location in Maine.
Need a farm!!!$$$
We'll get one pretty soon!
Map name?
I know you said it, but I'll be damned if i know how to spell that. 😅
