    Just happened to read a quote - "Do what makes the best story"... We need to realize that Ultra Running is not racing to the finish line... but travelling to it...!!!

    Hallucinations can be fun, but could be dangerous as well. I'm gonna try the extra sleep 2 weeks out. That was an issue at the last backyard I went to.

      They are fun, not the stimulus that causes them😂😂

      I want to try this as well, but I rarely can sleep that long at night on a regular basis. 8 hours seems doable. i almost can never sleep the night before any race.

    On my last 100 miler, the Vt 100 miler my son paced me the last 30 miles and at night at one point he looked back at me and saw i was running through the tree roots and rocks asleep. I totally do not remember nodding off. It was sort of crazy.
