- Hey my loves, so I finally got round to filming my autumn winter capsule wardrobe staples. These are pieces that I build all of my outfits around, and I would struggle to get dressed without them. I love everything you shared, definitely your style is classic and would last years after years. Even great for someone like me in my 50’s❣️
Loved the video and your styling ideas! Two tips:
1. Don’t hang your knitwear as that’s what stretches and misshapes it!
2. If your skin is ok with cotton try going for knits that have at least 40% cotton. They hold their shape, last for years and the more cotton the less bobbling :)
Love Cashmere and wool but both attract moths. Anyone have a solution for moths?
@@catnip4587 you can get anti moth things to put in your wardrobe/drawers.
@@catnip4587 I have tons make sure you hand wash lay flat to dry at end of season & if you’re lucky enough to have extra deep freezer, I’ve heard it works and I did do it over one season. No holes 🤷🏼♀️

Great vid full of lots of options and style ways. Love the doc martins too, I invested in the same pair this year but felt I did have to break them in as the heel is super hard and gave me blisters 😢 but now the are great and go with so much xx
I have the same exact boots from Zara from last season and just wore them for the first time the other day...thank you for mentioning that the need a little time to get comfortable and broken in because I was debating to keep them or not😬🙈 I'll keep giving them more tries! Also, I have the same doc martens but I have the traditional older "made in England" style that are not very comfortable at all, but I love them because they remind me of the same pair I had in middle school.
It's took me 2 years to build my wardrobe for AW but I finally feel like I'm there! I always take a peek at your Instagram before I go out for some inspiration 🥰

Love your style. Is the fit of the Zara trench coat oversized or more true to size ?I'm typically a L would I need to size down ?
I'm really petite at 5'2 so I am not doing the oversized trend. I'm finding it hard to locate petite Co-Ord lounge wear and coats this year. It seems like the petite sizing is getting the chop from brands.
its funny in the UK you call them jumper when in the states (USA) we call them sweaters. Also Trainers are tennis shoes.
