I'm so glad to see that i'm not the only one that shopping from my own closet and then shop and plan outfit in advance. it's always fun to see your videos! and i love your style so so much!
Loved the random dog walking through one of the shots... I admire your rigour and methodical approach -- and as always the classic yet minimalist vibe.
I do have one on my list that I will be filming in the next week or so, so that should be up very soon. And I recently done an updated house tour which is up now ❤️
I already started my wishlist by the end of August. Thrifting online takes time and is sometimes a hit or miss so that I do not find what I wanted on the first try. Like you, I combine thrifting with buying new and loving what I already have.
Oh Emma, this has to be one of my favorite videos of yours! After spending most of the year feeling frumpy in maternity clothes I’m so excited to plan for fall and winter outfits. I would love to see another video like this when the next season rolls around!
I love Pinterest. I keep a folder of outfit pictures I've printed from Pinterest in my closet that I can pull out if I need some inspo. Right now, smoke from California fires keeps me inside when normally I'd be doing something active outside, and putting together some fall/winter outfits based on the inspiration from my style folder and taking some photos of them so I can remember what I put together has been a fun thing to do.
I was really lucky this week - I managed to find an 'Emma' black cashmere Autograph jumper for £5.99 in a charity shop! I have a lot of thrifted cashmere, but this one eluded me for a long time, as I actually wanted this specific one. Very happy bunny - just waiting for cooler days, without wishing away the sun!
I have been in love with your Saint Laurent jacket since I saw it on your channel and have been searching far and wide. I can't seem to find the exact same one and none that I find make me happy yet. Love your style and your videos. Thank you.
Your videos ate always a treat. I love that Celine bag because it has so many deep exterior slip pockets. I use these for most items, except bulky ones like my wallet, hairbrush, etc. I don’t know why they are so hard to find, they are so practical and secure enough for all situations except, maybe, amusement park rides that shake one upside-down.
This is the first time I have ever commented on a video (been a fan for years!), this is also the first time I have ever rewound a video and watched it again immediately. This is outstanding! 👏 Full of tips, knowledge and inspiration. Thank you 😊.
Hi again! Looking to potentially purchase the Classic Camel coat from The Curated. May I inquire as to what size you got for yourself? I believe we are the same size! I typically wear a US size 6 (which would be a Small) but wondering if you suggest to size up to facilitate cozy sweaters. Thanks again girl :)
Very helpful. As a not natural organizer, I appreciate getting tips from natural organizers. I'm in Los Angeles and there are high temps and fires so it's hard to even imagine fall clothes, but it helps to get some visuals.
Hi Emma, as I was watching this amazing video I realized that my fashion taste is going through a major change as well. I used to love colour, although black is my thing, but now it's getting more and more minimalist. Thank you for sharing your ideas and expertise.. 😊😊
Omg I needed this. I switched up my wardrobe for Autumn yesterday and realised the only stuff left was office wear.... but guess who's working from home now!! I don't want to go out a buy loads of new stuff because I'm trying to be more sustainable. Was planning to invest in a few nice pieces (e.g. cashmere etc) but every brand I look into seems to have some sort of sustainability problem or their parent company does. It's so hard to make good choices. But ANYWAY. 😂 Love the video as always. Good to have you back 😊❤
Hi! Maybe you could check out some online thrift stores. Many of them have filters so you can choose your size, material, and condition of wear on them. I usually use Swap.com, but Thredup and Depop are very popular. That way you can get what you want but you aren't supporting companies who don't use sustainable practices and your using what is already available rather than creating demand for new items. I hope this might be something that could work for you.
Hi Emma! I too love Pinterest and use it for decorating inspiration, storing images of my clothes, fashion images and just about everything else. Thank you for sharing other great ideas and for your effortless fashion style. 😘
When you revealed your "Secret boards" I almost teared up 😭😍 every video gets better & better ! Ive literally felt "Meh" more often than usual .. Im in the middle of recovery from broken ribs & im loving the escape Thanks Emma ❤
New subscriber here. Found you recently, and I’m convinced that I’d love watching all your videos. Been planning my wardrobe for winter and I had a mental note of the essential items I needed/ what items need to be upgraded. I also like to have a wish list handy so that I can be well guided when I go shopping. Thank you for the informative videos. X
Oh wow Emma, I *loved* this video. So much autumn inspiration *including* motivation to shop my own wardrobe. It's still a bit too warm here to do a switchover as you've done but you've got me thinking about all the great outfits I'll be able to wear once the weather gets a little bit cooler. Thank you for sharing all your great tips and techniques and for your fun and friendly vibe. xo
Autumn is my favourite season. I'm busy in the process of building my autumn/winter capsule. My colours are khaki, pink, light brown, cream, grey and blue denim.
Yay, marvellous video Emma. You are one of my style gurus now. Thank you for your wonderful content. Looking forward to Autumn and Winter even more now.
Emma you can consider me a big fan of yours. Your style is 👌🏼and you always have this really cool vibe that is very inspiring 🤩🔝🙌🏼. I love seeing the babies 🐾in your videos 🖤
Happy Sunday to you Emma! Another fun video to sit back and enjoy the weekend go by. Congratulations on your black coat collaboration with The Curated. Looking forward to that and more. Stay safe & sane xoxo
Good morning Emma!! You are a great inspiration!! I like everything in your wardrobe , but mostly how you style everything in your wardrobe!!! Thank you so much ☺️
Ok, you’ve really inspired me this morning, first to give my actual wardrobe a total makeover as I don’t have enough space to store and have a seasonal wardrobe at hand and second to only keep it minimal and practical. I, very much like you, love blacks, browns, blues and whites and hate prints and you help massively envisioning exactly how I want my autumn/winter wardrobe to look like! Top class content as always 🔥💝
Really helpful Emma. Thanks for walking us through your approach. You have inspired me to play a bit with what I have to find new combos. Hi to Simon too.
Loved this because you feature heavily on my own Pinterest inspo boards. We have very similar taste although I am branching out from my tailored, classic style into stuff that is less conservative as I get older and feel more comfortable in my own skin. Nothing huge just more colour, small prints and classics with a twist (interesting details).
hi emma! I love your style ! so casual chic! each day i try to match some of my outfits just like yours! it's incredible! you are such an icon ! take care
Love this Emma, and how you are shopping your own closet and adding carefully thought out and versatile pieces - love your choices and I'm also on the lookout for a new (to me) coat or two for this year. Also I love that you genuinely shop 2nd hand and I think it's so good that you mention this regularly, I love finding amazing pieces in charity shops and ebay etc and it's nice to give clothes another life and save them from potential landfill! It's nice to see this carrying through your videos and not just mentioned once in a video that is sponsored by Vestiare / 2nd hand reselling site which I've been a bit disappointed by in other channels.
Loved this video! I use Pinterest every single day too -- it's such a helpful tool for gathering inspirations and planning. Your new chunky boots are absolutely beautiful and you pull 'em off so well, Emma!
Great video! I do feel fairly certain your outfit planning in the fall is grabbing a pair of jeans, a t-shirt and a blazer. In the winter, jeans, a black cashmere sweater and one of the coats.
I love Pinterest too! It's just my favourite for browsing ideas, create inspiration boards, it has everything! Great video Emma, love your outfits, really fan of tailoring and converse, it looks just so cool! 👌👍
I enjoyed this so much - heading to Pinterest to play awhile! P.s. Really nice editing by Simon lately and love the softer look of your studio background.
you should use a pinterest pinning chrome extension! it converts images on other web pages so that you just click a button and can pin it directly., so much faster than downloading, saving and uploading to pinterest!
Thank you for your videos! Could you also do a review for your Manolo's? I'm considering buying the same style and wonder if they are comfortable to walk etc.
can't wait for cosy knits and limited myself to creams and greys and beige in my colour tones ( i had a huge declutter of my jumpers over lockdown ) but i was lucky enough to get the striped H&M oversized jumper that sold out in one of your latest videos i just loved it . now on the hunt for a grey coat as i can't wait to wear my navy pea coat but i see how you really suit that colour Emma x
Hi Emma, great video again, thanks for the inspiration! I swopped my S/S wardrobe for the F/W one last week, and now this upcoming week temperatures will be up to 30 degrees Celsius haha.. But still, love the new season!! X
Brilliant video Emma sooòh informative, even if l personally will search ideas at a lower price point!! Thankyou for sharing your tips lm searching for a black long line Massimo Dutti blazer on ebay. I'd never known this Italian brand and l love it. Cheers lovely ❤🥰
Loved seeing how you organize your wardrobe. I'm really the opposite and a lot of the times I'll throw on something. Try to be more like this haha. And if anyone is selling that &other stories jumper, send me a message please!! It's looks incredible
Love your content, Emma! Can you please do a video about your second hand shopping tips? Ebay can be quite overwhelming sometimes and I need to know how you approach it. Thank you!
Perfect timing to see you! I'm pulling out my jeans and sweaters at the moment. I've been working on making face masks and haven't done much of anything else for weeks. As always I'm sending you endless well wishes and love xo
The London coat from the curated looks so amazing, I got my eyes on the sage one, such a unique colour. Please let us know what you think of it when it arrives! ❤️
Have you heard of Shoptagr? It's a shopping assistant toolbar which you can create wish-lists like Pinterest, except it notifies you when things are on sale or low in stock! Thought it could be helpful!
Thanks for the great video. Gave me lots of ideas for planning my a/w wardrobe. Love your style. What white trainers do you recommend to go with everything?! X
Thanks for sharing ♡ Pinterest as well I need to have a sort through my pins was into brights a few years ago now into netruals :) feels more grown up!x
Are a treat, not ate, oops. I’ve never had an unlined wool coat so have two questions about your experiences with them: are they difficult to get on and off, and do they stop wind infiltration enough? My best winter coat is a 35-year-old Dior very long, full burgundy wool with black corduroy cuffs and collar. It’s not really in-style, but it’s never really out either and is looking a bit more on-trend this fall - it has shoulder pads. In my warm climate, I only wear it when I’m dressed up in deep winter, as I no longer do a cold daily commute. I’ll wear it forever, what a great investment it was.
I personally don't have any issues getting them on or off & I find it warm enough for winters in London but it would depend where you are. It probably wouldn't be warm enough for a Canadian winter without some extra layers ❤️
Great video! I’ve been looking at the Curated London coat and still undecided on sizing... Im 5’9 and slim so tend to disappear in overly sized items. Did you order your usual size, size up or down? Your opinion is much appreciated :)
I love Pinterest and it’s actually where I found you years ago, I’d pinned an outfit you were wearing onto a fashion inspo board and that was that! Really enjoyed this video and insight into your planning process. I like to do the same but the lists never go away they just get longer 😂. And on Pinterest well, if only I had the money to live in the houses I pin, the places I’d travel to and buy all the clothes I like etc etc then all would be good 😆
So enjoyed your strategizing on this video. Thanks for sharing your approach. I’m especially taken by your pre-planning outfits and saving them on your phone for those days when planning ANYTHING is a bit much. Clever boots! I haven’t looked at Pinterest in donkeys, always found it difficult to navigate, but I’m going to go back and give it a shot. I’ve been toying with the idea of a black coat, but have a very fluffy solid white dog. Since you have five very active fawn colored pups, I was wondering if it was a big hassle. I suppose a lint roller would just be a part of daily living. Still green with envy over your Seau Sangle and have been scouring all the pre-loved sites. It’s my mission for my October birthday present to myself. Have a marvelous week ahead, and “see” you soon, hopefully!
Yes a lint roller is part of everyday life for me 😂 Although with coats I tend to put them on as I leave so that the pups don't jump all over me/the coat 😂 So its not too bad ❤️
Mine is the large and it works well for me as I find it more practical but it will depend on what you want it for (the smaller may be better for you if you don't carry much around - for a date night for example) 👍🏼
Very, very informative video .... I really enjoyed the section on Pinterest as I need to learn more about it as so much inspo there .... as always love how you styled your outfits ..... thank you!
Hi Emma! Super nice video! Thanks for sharing your tips and favs, I’m a huge fan of your effortless chic style ❤️ I’m looking into getting a burberry trench coat and I absolutely love the oversized look you have. Would you mind sharing the size you took as well as length? Thanks a lot 😘
I've pre ordered the classic camrl coat as per your recommendation 😀 I cant wait to see what you think of the london coat as well as it was a toss up between the two for me
I can now see why these are so popular!! LOVE your planning tips and inspiration!
Thank you ❤️
I am sooo ready for autumn, was looking for new jumpers & this week it's going to be 30°! Over the hot weather 😁
Little Boris 😍
You are THE BEST style advisor I ever heard !! Well Done. Remember . . . THE BEST !!!
I need a 2021 video like this! And a wardrobe/house tour. Omg I want your wardrobe 😍🥺
I do have one on my list that I will be filming in the next week or so, so that should be up very soon. And I recently done an updated house tour which is up now ❤️
@@EmmaHill i’ve just seen it😍😍😍 you are such and inspiration in home decor too! Omg! Thank you for being as you are! ♥️
I already started my wishlist by the end of August. Thrifting online takes time and is sometimes a hit or miss so that I do not find what I wanted on the first try. Like you, I combine thrifting with buying new and loving what I already have.
I LOVE tailoring + sneakers 👟 combo
Definitely can’t get enough of it at the mo

🤣🙈 Hope you have a fab week too ❤️
You make style like this look very easy... nice way to start the week. Thank you
your style is so nice. and I can see you take good care of your old clothes, I just really love this attitude.

This is EXACTLY what we needed in Toronto right now, with the cooler weather among us. Thank you, Emma x

Good morning Emma! I follow you from Spain since a few weeks. I encourage you to keep creating this inspiring and amazing content, I really love it!!
Really helpful Emma. Thanks for walking us through your approach. You have inspired me to play a bit with what I have to find new combos. Hi to Simon too.
okay, why have I not thought of creating an outfit inspiration folder in my mobile? That's genius! Especially like Emma said for these meh days.
Thank you for this excellent video Emma. Its so useful! I feel like your style this year is so on point. Thank you x
Pinterest is my favourite for pinning my purchases, which helps me remember what’s in my wardrobe.
Loved this concept. You should do this for each season! Absolutely loved it ❤️
Me tooooo , my fav is Pinterest . I can watch it whole day 😃😃
As much as I HATE cold weather I do love fall only for the sweaters, scarves, boots, coats, etc!! And wearing fall neutral colors!
Thank you for your vídeos, I allways learn something from them, very helping.

Yay!! Love me some Emma! Best video to watch during my nightly baby feeding 🤣!! I’m so happy ur back
who else is now HYPED for fall 'fits
I love the coats! Its sometimes hard to find a clasic one, because of the trends, love the long hair !
Loved this video! I use Pinterest every single day too -- it's such a helpful tool for gathering inspirations and planning. Your new chunky boots are absolutely beautiful and you pull 'em off so well, Emma!
I found the dear Frances boots excruciatingly painful! But they look fantastic on you and I’m glad they’re comfortable for some
Great video! I do feel fairly certain your outfit planning in the fall is grabbing a pair of jeans, a t-shirt and a blazer. In the winter, jeans, a black cashmere sweater and one of the coats.
🤣
Not sad, baby! Look at all of us enjoying it 👀👏
I love Pinterest too! It's just my favourite for browsing ideas, create inspiration boards, it has everything! Great video Emma, love your outfits, really fan of tailoring and converse, it looks just so cool! 👌👍
Fantastic video! Love your organizational system.
I enjoyed this so much - heading to Pinterest to play awhile! P.s. Really nice editing by Simon lately and love the softer look of your studio background.

I love watching your videos ! So inspirational !! Much love from NYC! xo🥰
Thank you for your videos! Could you also do a review for your Manolo's? I'm considering buying the same style and wonder if they are comfortable to walk etc.

Em AMEN I am the same I use Pinterest to inspire me for outfits been doing this since I was a teen it’s been my GO TO! 📌
can't wait for cosy knits and limited myself to creams and greys and beige in my colour tones ( i had a huge declutter of my jumpers over lockdown ) but i was lucky enough to get the striped H&M oversized jumper that sold out in one of your latest videos i just loved it . now on the hunt for a grey coat as i can't wait to wear my navy pea coat but i see how you really suit that colour Emma x
Thanks Emma! Very helpful video! Always appreciate your content.
Good to see how you plan your wardrobe Emma, you have some lovely coats. Take care x
Hi Emma, great video again, thanks for the inspiration! I swopped my S/S wardrobe for the F/W one last week, and now this upcoming week temperatures will be up to 30 degrees Celsius haha.. But still, love the new season!! X
I know right 🤣🙈
Amazing looks. Would love to see a walk through of your favorite coats and knitwear
Always great advice and helpful 👍🏼😊
LOVVVVE your channel.... thank you so much. I also refer to Pinterest for my outfits planning...so much fun. Thanks Emma. Love from Canada xxx
Maureen Thompson Massimo Dutti is a Spanish brand. It belongs to the same company as Zara, but the quality is much above Zara.
Wish u had a discount code for the curated website, they have lovely pieces😻 But they’re so pricy😫
Thank you!
I have done an Ebay tips video that is already on the channel and may help ❤️
Emma Hill That’s awesome, thank you so much ❤️
Perfect timing to see you! I'm pulling out my jeans and sweaters at the moment. I've been working on making face masks and haven't done much of anything else for weeks. As always I'm sending you endless well wishes and love xo
Can’t wait for the Celine review!
The Curated London coat is beautiful! Such a classic! Xx
No, I haven't heard of Shoptagr ❤️
Thanks for the great video. Gave me lots of ideas for planning my a/w wardrobe. Love your style. What white trainers do you recommend to go with everything?! X
I would say either Veja campos or adidas Stan smith (if they are your style) or converse 👍🏼
Emma Hill Thanks.
Thanks for sharing ♡ Pinterest as well I need to have a sort through my pins was into brights a few years ago now into netruals :) feels more grown up!x
Excellent video 😍 thought I wouldn’t like the chunky boots but they look amazing on you
Are a treat, not ate, oops. Wow! That was so helpful and gave me some great ideas - thank you!
Great video! I’ve been looking at the Curated London coat and still undecided on sizing... Im 5’9 and slim so tend to disappear in overly sized items. Did you order your usual size, size up or down? Your opinion is much appreciated :)
I sized up to a size M for a more oversized fit & to fit thick knits underneath in winter ❤️
Loved watching this video ❤️. Thanks Emma 💕

Emma Hill 😆😆 Exactly!!! It’s an addictive enjoyable escape ❤️
U do the best coats and blazers on TH-cam

Is your Celine trio large or small size? Which do you recommend?
Mine is the large and it works well for me as I find it more practical but it will depend on what you want it for (the smaller may be better for you if you don't carry much around - for a date night for example) 👍🏼
Thank you so much for this beautiful and inspiring video. I really enjoyed it 🍂🍁💕

Mine is a Long vintage size 12 👍🏼
I've pre ordered the classic camrl coat as per your recommendation 😀 I cant wait to see what you think of the london coat as well as it was a toss up between the two for me
