Fun Fact: Laelaps is a famous dog from greek mythology (so Laylaps, the drone, fits right in with the other non-procedurally created NPCs in the game). It would always bring down it's prey so, so when it was sent to catch the Teumessian fox, we get the paradox of "the dog that always caught its prey versus a fox that could never be caught". Which Zeus got so annoyed by he just went "fuck your paradox, I'm ZEUS" and turned them into the star constellations Canis Major and Canis Minor.
I often forget that it was the old weekend missions would have you talking to everyone on the Anomaly and no one ever has to talk to them anymore aside from the introductory mission and this one.
Pointless Trivia: Laylaps is mentioned in the lore you get from the Base Computer Archive during the early game. Your past life described them as an oddball sentinel that wasn't aggressive. And mentioned later in I think Colossal Archive lore dumps or from a monolith as being friends with Telemon, the AI that used to be part of Atlas thats in your suit now. Yeah this shiz is Adventure Time deep. 😂 It was in the lore way before the Taste of Metal mission existed. Pretty cool nerd fact. 😂
I highly recommend you get an exocraft summoning module on your freighter. If you weren't aware, it lets you summon any exocraft for free as long as your freighter is in the system.
> explorers whisper about the contaminated water > computer: hey bad things are gonna happen if you- > Croc: "release!" bro really is an agent of the V O I D never let him be in charge of pandemic management ☠☠☠
You can go to the console at the sentinel spikes and just deactivate the sentinels on the planet. No need to kill anything and they still drop all their "loot" containers.
For my settlement while it was also under constant attack due to quest but one of the negative traits were under ai overlord So it was fitting Especially the name alminesheart
I think the Sentinel Hard Frame Mech and the Liquidator Mech are the same thing, they just look different....? Anyone know if there are hidden stats or some weird niche buff like Liquidator is better vs Monsters and the Hardframe is better vs Sentinels or something? I don't know. But they both do the same thing: give you a flamethrower and more HP. Would have to hit up Xaine, he knows everything about the NMS min/max scene.

Tons of Greek references in NMS! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tethys_(mythology)
There's nothing like being a Gek overlord to a Korvax Settlement...
??????
@@czuniga8579 if you don’t know the lore then this wouldn’t make since
The irony lol
Looks like the korvax have a gek overseer again...
The armor you get for your exosuit is so cool
The trace of metal quest will let you get armour for your minotaur exocraft and it looks awesome.
Kind of like the liquidator mech
Heh I was like really fearful about settlement, after what happened in sanctuary and later castle, yup your very own Preston Gravey in no man sky!
My dude! I was wondering when we'd see the flamethrower! lol

do you think they're gonna resolve the "AR1ADN3" mystery/storyline someday?
@@FHT1883 Mystery? That was the answer.

Yes I agree. Just put the individual geobays in your settlement. Need them on a planet anywhere before freighter bay works.
