No Many Sky is one of those games where I legitimately feel guilty for the amount of content I have received vs what I paid. I get that they had a terrible launch, but they have more than made up for it...several times over.
yeah Hello Games is a blueprint of what a company should do with their game obvi not the rocky launch part but actual updates without putting a paywall behind every single small addition just good updates and expansions that are just that UPDATES
@Mitsurugi2424 I know, same. I did enjoy it when it came out, it was very repetitive but I like weird things like inventory management and other organizational things. I wish I could support HG in other ways than buying it originally and spreading word? I would pay money for bonus optional cosmetic content 😭😭
it’s more so the fact they aren’t a triple a game company so they are that small they most likely watch every single piece of critique and review on the game, I don’t believe they anticipated this would get that popular
Don’t feel bad, the game still makes profits, I’ve bought it like three times lol. Glad people are now seeing how much this game has evolved over the years, i did enjoy how you told your story through the eyes of your traveller. Tip: if you claim a damaged ship it gets saved and you can recall it on your frighter, space station, or anomaly before fixing it.
@@CT-1035 True, but it is only the launch thrusters and pulse engine that need to be fixed to get it airborne and sold, but i wont lie, it does take a good amount to get every one fixed up and ready to use.

5 minutes in, and it's one of the best play through videos for NMS I've ever seen. Take my sub. I'll definitely need to check out what else you've done
Its been around 6-9 months since I last played this game. Can't believe how many new things are in it: The brood mother miniboss, the wave effects in storms, and much more. Alas, what really made NMS shine in this video was the awe-inspiring cinematics, the continuous progress through the main storyline, the steady narration and convincing voiceovers. It was beautiful downright beautiful. Thank you!
i bought no man sky 2016 on my PS4. The game was awful during that time, there was no NPC side quests, no cargoships, no base building. And now its an amazing game and I should return to it
no man's sky - the movie ! Very well done ! i always said that if they had voice lines to the things we need to read when characters say stuff, the game will be X2 the awesomeness that it is.
I’m so jealous on how amazing your starting planet was. When I first picked up the game I never got anomalous rocks, or giant worms. It’s quite beautiful.
i remember when the game first came out. i was so excited in anticipation for it to release back in 2016. crazy how different the game is and how long it's been
Second comment, this time addressing less the controversy surrounding early release, and this time about the content of NMS. I've always felt a certain melancholy to the game. While much of what exists, the quests, the fights, the ability to reverse one's standing with any faction... much of the game gives "hope." Yet... so many quests resolve on such crushingly sad notes. It wasn't until my hard drive was wiped that I actually completed the game for the first time recently. That I learned the significance of 16. No Mans Sky is the story of the death knell of a god which isn't a god, desperately crying out to those under it's protection- to warn... to protest... and maybe, just maybe, in the hopes that someone will say "things will be okay." Even if it is just a small and hollow comfort. A kindly lie to a dying person. Because, in the story of NMS, ATLAS is a person. A powerful one, an enigmatic one, but undoubtedly supposed to be one. That is why there is this eternal, aching sadness to the game. God is dead. Long live god. The significance of 16 is an intriguing thing as well. 16 minutes until total system failure, and yet, perpetually 16 minutes until total system failure. Is ATLAS managing to ward off it's impending death at effectively the same rate as that death encroaches? Eliminating errors, generating new constructs, holding out that last gasp for as long as possible in hopes of... of something? In hope. And there it is again. Hope is a funny thing. It can be a salve for a dying man, or a precipitous cliff from which the works of a lifetime can fall. It is a promise and a curse all in one. When I reached the end of NMS, I took the option to "comfort" ATLAS. I tried to think what I could say, and all that came to mind is "Hey... it's going to be ok. There's still hope." A truth, because hope is there as long as you hold onto it, and the world will be ok- the world ATLAS interfaces with, however briefly, that is. And yet very much a lie, because while hope can exist as long as you hold it, this also makes it the last bastion for those in situations hopeless. Hope is as beautiful as it is ugly. Maybe someday Hello Games will give us a means to save ATLAS. Maybe they already have. Personally, I don't hold out hope on that. Some things are intended to be tragic.
Honestly, this was an exceptional journey. I love this game and it's become so much more than I had expected when it came out. I laughed, I cried, I subscribed.
As someone new to NMS due to PSVR2, I really appreciate your ‘walkthrough’ of the beginning. It’s absolutely overwhelming at first and this gave me focus to do what i needed to do plus was pleasing to watch. Great formula. Would like to watch a continuing play through told in this fashion.
Coming back to the game recently has been a blast. I had beaten the game in every way possible (full stasis device farm, multiple galaxies, maxed out freighter/fleet), only to find that I can now have a space battle against pirate dreadnoughts and other bosses. This game is too good
It's cool to see the redemption song of this game. When it released, i watched my flatmate play it and thought it looked ok but didn't get what the fuss was about. It's a beautiful thing when feedback is heeded and improvements are made. Glad those of you who stuck with the game have had your patience rewarded so bountifully😊
I bought this game a while ago and have been playing it some odd 20 hours. It's not the type of game I usually play, but it's been very interesting. I still find it a bit difficult to control my starship, and more than once it has spiraled, literally, out of control and nearly crashed into something. It's almost given me motion sickness from all the uncontrolled spinning.
whoa this is a very well-produced video. I started to play this game a while back but didn't follow the main storyline and as i have a bad pc, i stopped. So thanks for the documentation of the Atlas story
Stellar narration! (pun intended) I always wanted to hear this story fully voiced. This is the next best thing. Sorry you went through so much for a walker brain.
You can either just hear or whatch and it feels like a book . Excellent work! Now I'm gonna play this masterpiece since it changed a lot, last time I played this was during the launch and it was full of glitches. I see it is way better now
Wow that was a really good and well made video, coverd so much you can do in the game. Almost everything ecept the story you unlock after the main story...☺️ Very good content.
I never seen No Man's Sky, dunno why. I always wanted to check it out but i was like "Eh, tomorrow" and this happened so on and so on since like 2020 lol
I love No Man’s sky mostly because it did what a lot of games have trouble doing. It redeemed itself and it’s still getting updates to make the game more and more polished, which I like, most of the time I play the game I see that it’s being updated, it’s great, the only game I can think of that did that was cyberpunk, and they did that only pretty recently.
ive only once reached the center of the galaxy and only through a glitch at that, i was gating back to one of my bases and ended up in someone else´s base at the center of the galaxy.
