Thanks Villa Boy. If only for the United goal which I remember so well. It was the time Brian was in the running for a place in the England team. Then he picked up his serious knee injury and was never quite the same player again. He is still the Villa player who has given me the most enjoyment. So elegant and calm. So many assists. Every time he got the ball you thought something special might happen. Brian Little walked on water - so true.
When I was a kid Brian Little was my hero and to this day I remember him as a real connoisseur of a player. He always wore his shirt outside the shorts and had the great long hair, he'd stand around some games looking a bit lost but when he got the ball and was in the mood you knew anything could happen. He was always exciting to watch. For a couple of seasons he was the best.
LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LAAAAA! Thanks for posting. fabulous memories and a privilege to have been there for every goal seen. After the second League Cup Final replay at Old Trafford we, my Dad, bro, sis and I went back to the car. I noticed that the terraced house we had parked in front of had the light on in the front room. I knocked on the door and asked if they had a TV in there. They did. Curtains were opened and 30 Villa fans watched the highlights! Great days. As for the first goal against QPR at Highbury, I swear if the net hadn't stopped Brian's goal it would have hit me. Direct line behind the goal on the Clock End. Masses of memories . . maybe a Facebook group page would be an idea to collate all Villa fans memories.
@@notgadot I hope I understand you wrong. Why Not? Our team has some people from diferent nations in it. Would you ban the brilliant Canadian Pete - The Holy Trinity Show?
I remember being at that match -(the first one in the video against Birmingham City), if I recall correctly, Kenny Burns scored and then ran behind the goal to jeer the holte end and all the fans surged forward nearly crushing me! Does anyone else remember that?
He was a lazy sod. He would walk around with his head bowed and his hair in his face doing nothing at all for about 85 minutes and then wake up and show five minutes of complete brilliance and put a couple past the goalie :-)
That villa side were a class team, played with guts, spirit & determination , what a joy to watch.🙌 V.t.i.d.

The reason I became a Villa fan: I saw him warm up with the ball before a match and thought "that'll do for me!".
Villa legend
Villas best player.....ever!
Gordan Cowans - equal to Hoddle (better than Hoddle), in my opinion. Sid Loves Us - We Love Him XXXXXXXX
I just had a picture with him
that man has always walked on water

As good as, if not better than Best.
No stupid dances after scoring
The Best Of Us - C'mon The Villa XXXXXX. Got to deal with our injury thing right now - maybe we batter Sheff Utd soon XXXX

Proper manager, proper team unlike the clowns that will see us back in the championship next season.
Looks like you spoke too soon hahaha
