Thank you sir for the details you give in your videos! Those details make these tutorials stand out and adds up the joy of sim- flying too!
thank you very much!! i needed a refresher because i always used OP DES and didn't know how to properly engage DES mode
When you switch the anti ice on, I was expecting an ignition memo, but I didn't see it.
Don't you get a message on the engine display when you're in icing conditions?
Finally I kow how to initiate a decent descent
to descend decently
It’s minor question and probably doesn’t matter if you have say 3x constraints ie FL240 / 160 /80 and your cleared to 80 do you set 8000 and let the plane take care of constraints or do you set the constraints as you reach them ie step the Alt down each time ?
I would say you let the airplane handle it, i. e. use managed descent.
I think you dial in the altitude you are cleared to. If using VNAV the plane should handle everything for you. If managing the altitude manually, I'd put in the next restriction in ordner not to accidentally descent below it.
One question that has nothing to do with decent or approach I would really love the answer too. How do you make your mouse curser so small and unintrusive like that?
hello emanuel thanks a lot for your amazing content! just one question is how to let your airbus know what your TOD is in the MCDU? because i want my airbus to follow the green dot during decend. thanks a lot!
Hi, I'm not sure I understand your question correctly. Do you mean how to make the autopilot automatically start the descent at the T/D? That's not possible, you need to initiate descent manually.
@@A330Driver in a moment in the video you said the airbus is gonna decend -1000fpm till its hits the TOD location sorry if this is not correct)
from 0:33 till 0:40 if im correct
@@A330Driver hello emanuel sorry for the misunderstanding i was flying this morning and did execaly what you recomended in the video and i finally decent realistic thanks very much for these videos! and its amazing to learn from a real pilot, i havent been able to fly realisticly binning last year, and i watched your videos for a year and made me fly like a real pilot. thanks again keep it up!
Thank you. Very informative.
As always, appreciate your videos. Ive now spent so much time in the Fenix a320, that its almost become second nature. Ive got approx 300 hours in it now. But it was these type videos I desperately needed last summer when just beginning.
When ATC tells you to cross waypoint XYZ at a certain altitude, how do you put that in the MCDU? I know how to do it in the B737 but not the A320 yet. Thanks.
Just do /Altitude, eg /200 for FL200 on the right side of the waypoint on the FPLN page. That will insert an FL200 restriction.
Note that some addons don’t support that feature, then you need to go onto the vertical revision page of the waypoint in question and enter the restriction there.
@@A330Driver Thanks!
@@A330Driver Thks didn't know that
