    Hi Skipper as always a very good video'
    would love to see a video on managing rate of descent, speed , track miles to set up a smooth transition to approach in depth if possible. I think its an area where a lot of us would like to learn more. Keep up the Great Work :)

    Hi Captain, it will be very useful to make a video about descent energy management in depth. What mode you use, why and etc. Thank you for good work !

    hey captain, when you are coming for landing single engine how do you configure the ac? You do early stabilized or decelerated approach? Because i saw on a video of yours going Flaps 1 Flaps 2 before FDP and after it you went gear down and full config. Great videos, Thanks!!

      always early stabilized for OEI

    Hi there, I have a question please. Why didn't you just adjust your vertical speed instead of going on managed speed to reach the 4000 feet? Couldn't you just divide your airspeed by 2 and add zéro to get the right rate of descent to cross the required waypoint at 4000 ft? Want to understand if this method works in réal life?
    Also, can you confirm that for the crab landing, you touched the runway and decrabbed after touching the runway? I'm asking as I've seen vidéos where they decrab just before touching runway.
    Asking as your vidéo are great. Thanks again.

      Hi, thank you for the question. Please note that this is just my personal opinion. If you are a pilot flying an A320, I recommend consulting your training department or flight operations for accurate information.
      Personally, descent can be achieved through Open Descent, where you perform your own calculations for when to descend and determine the required vertical speed. The second method is Managed Descent, where you use the FMS for guidance. In this case, the FMS was used because it is reasonably accurate, considers speed reduction, is more fuel-efficient, and reduces workload, especially since I was filming as well.

      Yes, you can touch down then decrab as long as the difference between the aircraft heading and the runway heading is within the manufacturer's recommended limits.
      However, the recommended technique is to decrab before touchdown by aligning the aircraft with the centerline. This provides better directional control and reduces stress on the landing gear.

      Thanks so much. I am not à pilot at all, just an xbox player for mfs2020. Thanks again for responding. Would really be nice to have vidéos on decrabbing in crosswind as well as landing with autothrust off please.I've seem that decrabbing before touchdown in heavy crosswind can also create issues with wings no more leveled off. As usual, your vidéos are very clear so would be a perfect vidéo I believe.

      In short, I have a personal emergency that might last for a while. My partner and the team will continue, and we'll see how we can resume the trip once I'm available. I'll keep you posted.

    Cap, why it doesn't feel straight and aligned to the runaway?

    • @waypointsaviation
      @waypointsaviation  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's normal for the centerline to appear slightly off when viewed on flat screens from any seat, except when you're sitting in the middle of the simulator's main screen.
