Thanks!
cool old stuff.
Great coverage
Thanks
Bell is lit
Thanks for the walk through. Hard to imagine there were more than 100 snowmobile manufacturers back in the 70's. I am thankful to have lived through it.
Thanks for watching!
Kingsford Michigan , so little snow last year , that they never even open the trail gates , Bummer , my sled never left the garage , first winter ever , brand new SLP performance Edition motor , never even started it yet , fantastic trail system by me , Ride the U.P.
Most awesome 👍 😊
Thanks
One sled I have never seen on you show is an Attic Cat EXT I had two of them with connective serial numbers! Thru we’re 399 free air.
Love the Bob Elsner sled! I live about 10 mins from him.
Thank you for this! I wish I could go to one of those shows! It on my bucket list! This makes you want to go even more!
Thanks
Thanks for the Tour ! Made my Day
That 94B John Deere race sled is driven by Jesse Cypher. Tom Loos who is sponsored on the sled is a great photographer who goes to a lot of snowmobile races and dirt track races and does amazing photography. Love seeing that 94B cruising the oval in Eagle River during the vintage weekend....
After this we need a great winter snow 👍🏁🙏🇺🇸☮️
You got that right!
Beautiful machines , lots of Love brought them back , and time , way cooler than a car show
Glad you enjoyed it
@@nuttersspeedshop told my Buddy about this afternoon , I was impressed
@@joelaichner3025 Thanks.
Loved your perspective.
Thanks!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Super cool. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Dave!
Very nice show John. Thank you so much for that content, and the excellent job. I too would love that 800 xcr.
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing. Don’t think about snowmobiles much this time of year
Winter is coming!
@@nuttersspeedshop hopefully we get more than 1 snow here this year. Last year we had 1 and both my sled and my brothers were down .
i know a guy with a 1971 Moroski Bullet 800 it has a 800 Hurth Honker in it. They have no rewind You have to rap a rope around the start pully to start it.
The thunder at 45:00 my dad brought it on Saturday
Nice walk through! I saw some sleds on this video that I didn't even realize were there! I don't think that there are a ton of '85 El tigres to scoop up! (Oh by the way... my channel is stics9. Not stics 9989 or whatever!)
Thanks Rodney! Hope to see you at Princeton in a couple weeks. Maybe there will be an 85 El Tigre 6000 there?
I thought I was out of the frame when you were at the Redline and scorpion sleds. I was the one in orange carhartt shirt.
Didnt know Scorpion came back in the early 2000s.. very interesting info. thanks
You bet
Nice video!!
Thanks!
Cheers Nutter 🍻
Holy crap! What an amazing collection of sleds! Don’t even know where to start for comments 🤷🏻♂️ Incredible!!
Sensing some foreshadowing on an 85 El Tigre 🤔
I’m guessing there’s a story about the lemons are yellow? lol
Thanks so much for taking us along Nutter 🍻🍻🍻
Glad you enjoyed it
Nutter I remember those blade snowmobiles they didn't take off here in the north east one of the local Polaris dealers here in Pennsylvania had a show in the late 90 s and they had one there and they were odd
I really don't know anything about the Blades except what Valdi has said.
@@nuttersspeedshop there was another sled called a redline I do believe, they didn't take off either
@@larrywarner9314 They tried to bring back the Scorpion name around 2000 as well. There was one at the show. Pretty sure it's in the video. Might have been more than one.
Very cool video. I do like the 1982 el Tigre 600. Would like to see you feature one!
I ran a couple different El Tigre 6000s over the years. One was stock and the other was a custom. They are both gone now but you never know what the future holds.
@@nuttersspeedshop Sounds great Nutter!
@@nuttersspeedshop i used to race oval back in the late 1970"s and early 1980's.The 6000 Cat in 440cc Was the hot setup in Stock B and the 500cc was a dominant Stock A Sled. I managed to win Top points B and C stock on a skidoo but not because my sled was faster. We were running Big Race tracks 7/8 mile and the guy on the Cat was afraid of the speed going into the Corners. He could pull me by two lengths on the straight but i would gain it back by hitting the corners faster.
must just missed ya Nutter. I didn't get up there till about 1:00 pm on sat. Will you be at the Polaris 70th? See ya at the shows.
Yep. Tommy and I are headed to Roseau next weekend.
How'd Valdis collection do after the building collapse? He's got a lot of unique stuff
He was insured. Everything is getting repaired.
34:40 i have a couple questions regarding old racing snowmobiles
A-would they have raced a sachs sa280
B-would they have added an extra spring to the right side for oval track
I am not sure.
I’m wondering ? A Million hours in restoration time , or more , if you counted every sled at the show , and the money spent on them must be mind boggling
How many of those race sleds have been To Eagle River ?
Hard to say.
