I tend to agree with you but if you are marking majoris or greater enemies most of the time minoris enemies are nearby so might as well mark them as well. vital data is too good to pass up when fighting extremis and terminus enemies. Getting 50% of your scan back instantly is hard to give up once you get used to it. So I guess my thought is why limit the scan to only majoris or higher when you are killing them so fast anyways? 12 or more seconds for a scan seems unnecessarily long.
I actually like playing assassin cqc sniper build and heavy bolter heavy. I find that as cqc sniper i take very little damage under 100 damage on lethal and pretty good damage to everything and easier time killling minoris which sometimes tend to get me when i use a regular sniper build. The cqc sniper setup lets me have true infinite cloak since i use a melee attack to cancel my cloak immediately after i press it, and lingering concealment gives me 2 seconds of free cloak. For heavy i know that plasma does way more damage but i found heavy bolter with strategic stand perk (cant move but gain more contested health) allows me to just stand in front of anything and just bolter them to death. This really helped me get through all of lethal i could just stand in front of terminators and tank them, and as long as i was shooting my heavy bolter i would regen all my contested health immediately. Same with zoanthropes, i dont even have to dodge the green balls. I could just stand there and shoot my heavy bolter while he was hitting me and i could just not lose any health. Of course you need the heavy immunity weapon perk on the heavy bolter for this but these 2 have been my top builds.
I actually strongly considered putting a CQC sniper build on the list. It’s really fun and underrated I’ll say that. I also considered putting a full add clear build on the list for the heavy class because the melta or heavy bolt massacre enemies. I’ll like do another one of these build videos in the future and may add these and other builds now that we had some changes to melee that vary up the play styles again. Thanks for watching!
@maxvasconcelosgaming its definitely underrated. It's incredibly effective and versatile for lethal difficulty. I found when i was using las fusil, and i missed some headshots, or I wasn't getting headshot kills because my melee guys were executing, or if i shot the head while they were execwasted a shot. Las fusil is definitely the stronger build in terns of damage, but the weakness of it is the ammo economy and the lack of true infinite cloak. There are quite a few scenarios i found when I dont have my cloak up and im trying to shotgun my las fusil into minoris to get it back. Also, i don't know if this is intentional, but sometimes when i clearly kill more than 1 minoris with the las i dont get my shot refunded. Also if you miss a headshot, it's incredibly expensive on the las fusil because you have limited shots. I even use the high ammo version, and on a lot of maps, i just run out of ammo, and now i only have a pistol and knife. Also minoris swarming me killed me when i make some mistakes. If i missed my headshot, kill, and my cloak is down and i get swarmed by minoris and i have low ammo on las fusil. I can get into a bit of trouble. On the cqc bolt carbine sniper its much more forgiving because you'll always have cloak and if not just spray and pray into a group of minoris and youll get your cloak back right away.
I actually disagree from this stand point, the heavy class probably has the best well rounded set of team perk in the game. Sure the more ammo is always good no question there. Being able to revive your teammates and they instantly have full health is insanely clutch and the 20% range damage reduction stacked on top of the passive 10% from having your halo up do less to a lot leas high damage moments from ranged enemies when you used properly. Anyways I do think that ammo is very useful but depending on your teams composition and the level of difficulty the others become just as viable imo
I’m glad it was helpful! What weapons are you looking for specifically? I talk about some perks in my other videos on space marines. I will try to do a more detailed video in the future but I’m still leveling a lot of the weapons.
Rofl I get kicked all the time for using tactical now. I’ll use my noob tribe sparingly hit still get kicked. I’ll only do it to refil. So I’ll spam down elites like every 30 seconds. When undying rot kicked I do like almost 40k in total damage
“Builds” dont really exist in this game. Sure, you can slap on the one decent perk the class has to offer then use its class specific weapon (or melta) and claim to be some game theory genius but im sorry that simply not how it works, this games skill tree and perk system is so insanely shallow there is ABSOLUTELY zero room for specialization. The perk system in this game needs a complete rework. There is one path through the skill tree and any other is simply not viable.
In my opinion using auspex scan for minoris is pointless because they die so easily already so I focus mine on larger enemies for more damage

Oh there's so many times you'd wish you'd scan the little ones when they are surrounding you
Great video bro! Keep it up!
Thanks man! Gotta get used that new profile pic

Heavy should always have the melta ammo perk in the first slot if you are running that weapon. The other perks are almost useless

Yo thanks for the builds! But do you think you could show your preferred weapon perks I have no idea what to even go for

Its weird, that u show builds with grey weapons and no weapon perks...kinda sus ;)
