My Fleck 7000 Brine Draw is not working. When i opened up the Injection system cap, i found a small plastic clear colored ball inside, approximately 4-5 mm in diameter. Should that have been there? I didn't put the Ball back in there, but cleaned the screen which was a bit dirty and removed the injector. Injector looked fine. What is the Ball for? Or should that not have been in there.
"In service" means normal operation mode, providing soft water to the house. To maintain (or service!) the system, like in this video, you would use "bypass mode": the water supply goes past the softener, providing hard water to the house while you work on it.
I have one of these units just 1 yr old. The board died. They sent me a new one and now it is stuck in UD SYNC mode. Had them send me another board and still no luck. Very frustrating having a water softener that does not work.
Yeah mine are old and frozen. They either won't move past a certain spot or break. I think it's a fault of the plastic they use, it loses it's flexibility over time

Just wondering in service mean that the water softener is working running to home or mean that in service to fix it tear down?

I have a unit like this that seems to be leaking at the base. Is this fixable?
That red clip does NOT just pull out like that
