I spontaneously bought a blue Switch Lite last week after having a really tough day. I used to have a V2 version, but I gave it to my friend's son when I moved abroad. I had totally forgotten how many games I’d purchased back then, and it feels amazing to play again. Animal Crossing, in particular, really helped ease my anxiety!
When Taki uploaded his video showing the OLED mod I knew it was finally time to get a switch. I had purchased a broken switch lite for $40 which just had a broken screen. Replaced it a normal screen and upgraded to hall effect joysticks. In total I spent less than $80 and it works perfectly.
I love my Switch Lite. I bought a case thing for the back that gives handles and makes it more ergonomic to hold. I wish they would have a Switch Lite 2 at launch.
I bought my first switch in 2021 it was a Switch Lite, I played it about 2 hours and decided the screen was too small for me. So I bought an OLED once it came out. I put the Switch Lite away in it's box and it's been sitting in my room since then. I may upgrade it, can't wait to see how it's done.
Have you ever swapped sticks on a switch lite. I think it’s easy as well but you might as well pull the screen and do a shell swap because that’s the only thing you don’t remove to swap sticks on a switch lite. One of the sticks is under the motherboard. I just did it in my sons switch lite and literally did a shell swap because I was right there
I am interested in purchasing a switch lite. Even more interested now that this video is out informing us that you can change the screen to an OLED. I'm not tech savy but interested in seeing the installation of the screen.

For the Switch lite I already bought Black Joystick Replacements and a Whole NS Lite button set in Black to replace those filthy white buttons (like seriously, wtf Nintendo?) and few days ago when my friend looked for some replacement Joysticks and Shells for his own joy cons, I stumbled upon the "Golden Wave" shell for the Nintendo Switch Lite from ExtremeRate on Amazon - which I asked extremerate COUNTLESS times in many YT video Comments. I guess my wish came true but didn't knew until few days ago so I ordered it. Now I will replace my gray Shell with this baby on it and think about of getting this OLED + HDMI USB C port Mod for it, since I really love my Lite console. If I buy now the DTF LED kit for my normal switch joy cons and btw checking any possibility to built it into the Switch lite in the future, I would try to do so.
Ever since the OLED mod was announced, I have been stocking up on games as they go on sale and now have like 90 games in my sd card lol. I think with the OLED mod, the switch lite still has plenty of life left. It's not like the games are gonna start playing worse.
I have both the OLED and just bought the Hyrule Edition lite and I love it. Leave the oled docked at home and take the lite on the road and with the cloud saves all I need is to download and go
Switch lite still isn’t pocketable so it just makes more sense to buy the regular switch with the big screen which is dockable and replacing the joy cons is a breeze where you just take them off and buy another set. I am not a do it yourself kind of guy just like 99% of people out there.
The lite is great I bought one and swapped the shell to an atomic purple paired it with a satisfy grip and it's great for on the go. I had to buy the hyrule edition as I fell in love with zelda after playing botw it has my heart now

0 out of 10, would not recommend, and I type this as someone that only has the OG Switch that is swollen and looks like the battery is about to explode out of the back! If the current Switch doesn't have time travel included, it's a waste of time... Switch 3 Pro+ HD Ultra 64K is where it's at! Everything is locked at the new industry standard of 64 fps which makes things pop off the Nintendo 3D TV without 3D glasses needed! (The Nintendo 3D Glasses part of the Switch 2 Pro+ that releases in 2034.) But, the MobaPad products do look solid there, and I'm adding them to my list of potential future pickups.
I love my oled model due my eyes having difficulty seeing the screen on regular switch or switch lite. But my brother loves his lite when i got it last year for him seeing as we share the oled and the lite makes a good secondary system he can use
1 lite is more portable 2 you already have a lite 3 you dislike the form of normal switch (I do) and with the mod coming with hall effect, no worries with drifting

I don't even want to talk about all these controllers I allowed TH-cam bloggers to talk me into but most of them were garbage especially the quality of them. I went back and bought 4x pairs of Joy Cons and it's been WONDERFUL! Stop talking about the Switch like it hasn't helped us all through ruff times, Nintendo has had an AMAZING catalog way better than it's competitors. with the amazing content I'm being spoiled with by them. Switch 2 who? I have more than enough games to play with for the next 2 years. Dude complaining is just showing how spoiled we are. This guy is literally showing us a gold lite that I KNOW we all want but probably don't need and it's wonderful with this library. Nintendo will contact us all when it's time for the Switch 2, mean time I'm not longer anxious because the switch 2 isn't the reason I play. Having fun is. GD world 🌎.
The triggers on my Mobapad broke after a few months, and I don't like the clicky sound of mechanical buttons. Obviously this doesn't apply to everyone, so if yours don't break after a few months like mine did, and you like loud, clicky buttons, they're great.

As someone who grew up playing the OG Game Boy through 3DS, the Switch Lite screen is phenomenal compared to everything that came before it.
I just wish the switch and switch 2 would bring back Streetpass...it would encourage people to bring theirs around in their bag. hahaha

I bought my first switch in 2021 it was a Switch Lite, I played it about 2 hours and decided the screen was too small for me. So I bought an OLED once it came out. I put the Switch Lite away in it's box and it's been sitting in my room since then. I may upgrade it, can't wait to see how it's done.

One thing to keep in mind is that the oled screen is going to cost $18 - $30 to ship depending on how long you want to wait for the delivery.
