I was a 12B CMBT ENGR...Riggers? I'd rather breach a mine field than do the job of a rigger. Damn important job, those riggers have. Respect to all of you.
Packed almost 2500 myself at ft benning. The arthritis from the massive repetitive motions is a bit much. But would do over and over again tomorrow if they asked me.
Just graduated and my first duty station is the 507th and I’m really excited, and i heard we be jumping a lot, and I’m hoping it helps me break my fear of heights even though I’m airborne😂😂
To all my old friends from the old 557th QM CO K-Town Germany,Simpson,Thompson,Powers,Uncle-AL,Meeker,Patterson,Larson,and all members, from G Hughes,TN.
In the mid-50s I'm 8 years old. "Daddy, what's it like jumping with a parachute?", thinking you'd waft to the ground, straighten your socks and walk away. "It's like jumping from ten feet without one. Don't try it, son!"
My son was just named Rigger of the year for 2019. He packed over 3500 parachutes. His name is Zachary Peterman
wow thats truly remarkable feat !
"You can bet your life on the work they do." Literally.
I used to be a Rigger. This video really takes me back.

Cool... 😎! I'm army paratrooper from INDONESIA "KOSTRAD"
Sorry but the best way to pack a parachute is the Greek way...
274 parachutes a day
A few of them, looked way bulky, for ABN ops? FAA
Uh….
