I was waiting for this version. At least, there are 2 passwords instead of 1, and the game is easier than the 16-bit ones in general (but still pretty hard with some unfair jumps).
Controlls are simple but not that great, its sometimes hard to hang in to staff, there is some deleys in severel actions. But the worst part is that you run and shoot with the same Button. In one of the tintin games, you activate running with the select button and that worked better. There are also to many times when you cant see the ground and gets killed, and it makes the game a lot of a trial and error. 3 lives and one countinue is also way to little, but there is level select codes thank god. This feels like a game that could have been better with some smaller adjustments. I would still rank it as one of the best bit managers games. Its fun to play, looks good and the soundtrack is amazing. The unrealesed Game Gear is ever better thanks to its colors.
@@jeromelange7401 I havent played the Radical bikers prototype but it loks decent of what i have seen. My favorite bit managers games are The Smurfs, the (Game Gear and Master System versions) And the Gameboy Color versions of Tintin in Tibet and prisoners of the sun. But if you like music of Alberto Jose González. I would also recomend The smurfs Nightmare,Lucky Luke and Looney Tunes Carrot crazy for the Gameboy Color. I think those 3, gameplay wise, are better then all Bit Managers games. Really well done games with amazing soundtracks. Do you have any favorites?
@tryffel8 I must say, Bomb Jack on Game Boy is pretty fun and addictive, probably the best port of the game. Also, the ZX Spectrum ports by New Frontier (=former name of Bit Managers) were pretty decent: North and South, The Light Corridor...
@@supmattboy Yes, i agree, Bomb Jack is a fun game from what i remember, fits the gameboy very good. I actully played Martian Alert just a few weeks ago, but it wasent my type of game, i really suck at those kind of games, but i know its got exelent rewiews back then, and the music of course is great. But speaking of more adventure-styled License games, i can really recommend Alice in Wonderland for the Gameboy Color if you havent played that.
