I'm so glad she got the hell away! I remember hearing about her on Bailey and sherrilyns channels. Ugh! How aweful! And the police didn't believe her at first! He'd convinced the police he was such a good guy-they SEALED his record and moved him there! F'n CRAYYYYY-ZZZZZZYYYY!!!

Bcuz he was on that show called the dating game. Back in 1978. I was 15 when this happened. In 1979.; My name is Monique Hoyt. He died on death row last year. He was another scum of the earth. I wish I can meet Cynthia.

The fact that a serial killer caught her and her mother died by one is heartbreaking. She really is a survivor. She broke the chain. Keep helping others and show them that it’s never too late to change their life around into something better. I’m sure your children are proud whether they are alive or not.

What an inspiration you are . The strength you show and how brave you are . I was abused and raped 30 and also 40 years ago too . My biggest regret is I never reported him for several reasons . It never goes away but I did something similar to you , I worked with people who were homeless, women who were victims of abuse and generally other people in need . As you said it makes you feel less of a victim and more of a survivor . Take care of yourself. ❤🙏

This is one of the most horrifying cases I've ever heard of & you are sooo, sooo lucky to have even survived! YOU are the Strongest, Smartest Woman WHO Finally STOPPED this Sadistic Woman Raping, Murdering Devil & his equally disgusting Girlfriend CINDY who only did 18yrs & lived in Washington State... are you kidding me! Thank You for sharing your side of this gut wrenching story & NOT being his victim, BUT HIM YOURS! 6 months was better then anyone else suffering! Wow! I remember this case like it was yesterday. I live in Albuquerque, Nm. And this happened in Elephant Butte Nm. And one of true crime channels I watched covered the story about the Toy box killer and mentioned a survivor. And now it’s crazy to see her tell her story and the horrific things she went through. And the other lady that survived and escaped that they identified through a picture of a tattoo they found, she was living in Colorado at the time. They actually show that discusting trailer and all the horrific home made s** toys that look just freakin awful. And those tapes he made them listen too are gross as well. I just can’t imagine what all those women went through. My heart goes out to the survivors❤️😞
So happy that you survived and so happy that you have the strength and fortitude to fight back and escaped him because who knows how many other women who would have done this to but then to turn around and find out that your own mother was killed by a serial killer and to know that you were in the graphs of one and almost died to one is so crazy I'm so glad he found a way to move on with your life and to help others that she was a real strength were a lot of people would have given up
