Does BMW store an Fault code / Diagnostic Trouble Code when the navigation / Headunit is removed? Does it store the Fault code with freeze Frame data (Milage / Time). Thank you for your videos.

Is it possible to change the hard dice in the unit to an SSD. Could you please make a video to show how to change the hard drive please. I guess changing to an SSD would make the navigation system function much quicker as data can be access much faster from a SSD.

If the plugs in the back are identical, it should work but it requires programming.
