  • As a sound designer that was part of the Elektron Sytakt development team, my passion lies in creating unique and versatile sounds that can be seamlessly integrated into various genres of music, from Hip Hop to Techno, IDM, and experimental music. With an extensive collection of sounds and sequences at my disposal, I embark on an exhilarating journey of sonic exploration. My goal is to push the boundaries of traditional sound design, providing musicians with a rich palette of possibilities to ignite their creativity. In addition to the captivating sounds, I also take pride in offering 50 Analog Heat +FX presets-a raw and uncut sonic sketchbook. While crafting these presets, I experiment with different effects, striving to find the perfect combination for the commercial release. / voltagectrlr subscribers have the privilege of enjoying the raw elements before they are made available to the general public, allowing them to delve into the untamed realm of sonic expression. I also included all the .wav files for yall to sample remix and mangle.

Thanks! I used to listen to a lot of Reggae, specifically Dub... King Tubby, and Lee Scratch Perry influenced me to play effects like instruments. I approach it in my own way for all types of music.

Great work. I love your music but I don't really get the elektron move here. If you always have to send the whole mix tru the heat it limits a lot what you can do with it. It Would have been much better if you could decide which track to send to the analog heat. Ofc they should make multitrack possible without using overbridge, lots of work but I suppose is tecnically doable.

Hi . I tried to contact Elektron but they don't give me an answer about analog heat fx. The question is about gain staging.
It is normal that by using the rear analog L/R inputs (therefore without using overbridge) and by putting the analog heat in bypass (after having adjusted the input to the maximum possible volume), I have a signal in the DAW that reaches the maximum around at -23 dbfs? Even if I activate the analog heat and adjust the output with the level knob I can push the maximum around - 23 dbfs before activating the exclamation point on the output meters. Can't I get a stronger signal out?
If I push the signal more the exclamation points above the analog heat meters light up. Is it possible to increase the output signal without cutting anything?
The channel on my apollo x16 is set to +4 dBu and I have no low volume issues with any other external hardware I own to get at least -12 dbfs in my DAW. I just want to know if this is a normal feature of the analog heat fx or I have some problem. Thank you and congratulations for your great work!

Those two + a good poly and it's enougth .... seem the Analog FX sound is really pronouced and sounding the same , it has its distinct color , maybe too much .....
Solid programing , came here for the gear , discovered talents ....

Thanks, yes less is more, and the AH+FX does have a signature sound but it can also play a more transparent role by using it for just a little eq and clean boost, its pretty flexible.
