    This was a good helpful video. As an INFJ and HSP (highly sensitive person) I battle with depression and anxiety all the time. I'm constantly in those negative moods. I will try this out, thanks.

    Hey, thanks so much for starting this channel!!! There aren't too many places for infj's to go on the web. Sorry, I didn't catch your name at the start of the video...was it West?
    You've accomplished something truly amazing just by making a home here for infj's!
    If I could offer one piece of constructive feedback...
    It would be wonderful if you could number your major points or tips when your doing the videos and then maybe expand on each one a little before moving on. Then at the end you could list/summarize the points again for emphasis. When I read the title "How to master our mind", I imagine a video that does those things so I can easily take notes on what to work on. Your discussion is fantastic; you just may get better traction with the message if the delivery was slightly more structured.

    What an eye-opener it was when I finally discovered I was an infj. All my life I've always loved people but somehow felt set apart or different from them. And thought it was very unusual that I periodically shut people out without warning for sometimes weeks at a time. Now I realize that was a normal way infj's recharge. Then there was always that eerie way I could read people (even when they try to hide it) that contrasted and confused my logical sensibilities. Of course now I recognize that as intuition. Finally, a couple of years ago , after a few personality tests and the endorsement of a psychologist, it all made perfect sense. Although we are not common; we are not alone. I've come to understand, embrace and love my infj quirks. Still got the 'old soul' - just a little wiser now, lol ;)
    Cheers and keep up the excellent work!!!

    Amen. Thank you for the video and great work! I'm a total fan. : ) I'm an INFJ her late 30's and do have some techniques for mastering the mind that I would like to share. Not to imply I'm a master in anyway (lol) but there are things I have realized and learned that I have found to be helpful, especially when I get into those moods that you mention. (I was pleasantly surprised to hear you talking about those moods as I've battled with the same thing as well. Makes me wonder if all INFJ's experience this.) If you read about functions, you'll find that our judging function (third in line) is Ti. I feel things very strongly but oftentimes can't make sense of my own feelings and instead have to rely on my thinking to do a lot of interpretation and understanding. My thoughts used to be all over the place. I compare it to an annoying "back seat driver". First function drives the car, second function sits in the passenger seat, third is like an adult in the back seat, and fourth like an infant in the back seat. I started meditating (not for everyone) but what I've taught myself over the years is to become more mindful of my thoughts. To become aware when my thoughts become anxious, worried, negative, unhappy, etc. thoughts. And then figuring out okay...what can I do to sorta combat those thoughts? I imagine the process of figuring out what to do with those negatives thoughts different for everyone... For me it's been a combination of learning to let go of thoughts, giving myself a break (a lot!), understanding I won't always have an answer or solution, or giving myself positive reinforcement. Anyway, that's just me. Keep up the great work! Will continue to watch and learn!

      OverallBabyVideos hey, thanks. If you like to share, I would be more than happy to watch it. Have you joined the fb group? It's the belowtheradar.abovethesystem fb page and there is a discussion group belonging: the ideapool. That would be great place to post your thoughts, videos and so on so we can all benefit from it. :)

    Great video! I have a video idea for the idea pool. My question is after failing to have reality match our dreams/inner vision so many times how do we get back into dreaming mode? Dreaming is natural to me and makes me happy but I've become cynical/depressed after having reality let me down too much. Hope to hear your thoughts!

    • @Wenzes
      @Wenzes  9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +wiwtsio Hi :) I know exactly what you mean...I have gone through it myself. I'll do a video on it. The main focus is...keep dreaming, there is no way you won't...all reality gives you is reference points in which direction you shouldn't dream anymore because it is not realistic (TI, not even theoretically anymore because experience has proven you wrong). This is just life helping you to go in a different direction. You know the master has failed more times than the average has even tried. Finding a dead end to one of your dreams is reality is a step forward, not backwards, as painful as it may seem at that moment.
