first drone i ever bought and flew and i love the DJI mini 4k its literally a cinema drone in a foldable package that fits in ur pocket
I’m newer to your content, but absolutely loving it. Everything is excellent quality and straight to the point. Well done as always!
Thank you 😊
Love this video!! I've spent the last 48 hrs researching trying to decide which DJI drone to get. I like this one a lot.
This is perfect! just ordered mine! went with the mini 4 pro and cant wait to use it!
Awesome!! I just bought mine. I’m excited!
off topic, but your voice is sooooo soothing..do a podcast hahah..thanks for the video 🥰
Haha, thanks 😅
That was very good and to the point thank you
Amazing ❤
got mine and i love it#
Nice review, it looks decent for an entry level drone and miles ahead of the little Spark.
Great vid I have just ordered one from amazon on offer for £209, I am new to drones so wanted something fairly cheap but also good quality, Your video really helped me out on choosing which one thankyou.
You’re welcome. I’m glad the video helped ☺️
Im gonna ask my parents for this for christmas
Can you do a video ( have you done a video? ) of DJI Mini 4K - First Flight?
Very well explained - thank you so much😊 Do you know if the app is compatible with a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra?
You’re welcome ☺️
I would imagine it works. It worked when I had my S21 Ultra.
Thanks Tamara, I keep ‘hovering’ over a drone purchase and the mini 3 pro is a likely one because of its follow me and obstacle avoidance.
They’re holding strong money on the used market too.
Thanks Darren
I love the Mini 3 Pro, it’s a great drone.
@@TamaraGabrielUK thank you.
Hello and congratulations for the beautiful video! I would really like to know what the technique of varying the playback speed is called? and where can I find the "vrooom" sounds you apply above?
Hey 👋🏾
The speed variation technique is called a speed ramp, the beginning of this video explains how I do it th-cam.com/video/EUk3ZNpTLyI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eMfoaCrT7XJ3ka5X And for the sound effects, I get them from Motion Array geni.us/tEEoIY
You are fantastic!
thanks for the reply 🤗
Hi everyone, I’m looking to buy my first drone and have two offers to consider: the DJI Mini 3 for 369 EUR or the new DJI Mini 4K for 299 EUR. What are your thoughts? Is it worth spending an extra 70 EUR for the DJI Mini 3?
Thanks for your advice!
We shoot with a lot of different DJI drones. The one caveat with the DJI MIni series is that it is VERY delicate (to hit weight marks the plastic is very thin.) That means it won't survive even the lightest mishap, where we've had Mavics hit every branch on the way down after hitting a tree and they're sometimes fine. The Mini in that scenario is guaranteed to land in 20 different pieces.
Mine hit a large tree, whereby I had to knock it down, thus causing it to fall down through 20 ft of branches only to roll down a small hill right under a house…..hardly a scratch on it and worked just fine afterward.
Great vid as always
Thanks ☺️
DJI re-released the Mini 2 as the Mini 4K?
Pretty much, minus the light bar in the front.
do i need to get a license operator id? do you have one and need one to fly?
Yeah you do. In the UK, you'll need both a Flyer ID (Free, lasts for 5 years) as well as an operator ID (about £11, lasts for 1 year). You'll need the operator ID since the drone has a camera, and all drones, even those under 250g, that have a camera require an operator ID.
Wow I thought it was a typo confused with Mini 4, but it's a new product
I'm pretty sure it just came out on April 29th. I had a hard time finding videos for this particular drone because it's so new.
It’s just a repackage mini 2 in a mini se body. It’s not new.
just unpacking my mini 4K. The camera seems so loose and floppy. Is it supposed to be that way?
Yeah, it has a certain amount of "floppiness" for the gimbal movement.
@@TamaraGabrielUK thanks
Hi Tamara, Amazon currently selling this for £200. This would be my 1st ever drone, but would I need to register it and need any particular certificates to fly it. I would be using it in Spain but im unsure if their regulations are the same as UK. Many thanks.
Hey. I don’t know about Spain’s regulations, I’m afraid. You’d have to look at their aviation authority website for info.
What's a bat tree?

Isn't this just a rebadged Mini 2, which was originally released in 2020, just with a slightly uprated camera?
I don't know about "just", but it does come at a considerably lower price point than the Mini 2 did
How different is the camera from the original Mini 2?
Yes it is. It’s a repackaged mini 2 tech in mini se body. Reviewers that get these things free from DJI are required to put these videos up and not mention these facts.
However, that being the case…it still is a good done for beginners.
Disappointed it is not available in Australia :(
😔
Can you fly this hands-free?
Do you mean have it tracking you?
Ooh what’s that at 1:43? Looks like a modular cube for a particular bag?
Yeah, it’s this camera insert from Moment geni.us/A8agnm
@@TamaraGabrielUK do you use it with one of the Moment bags? What do you think of the system? I have the Brevite at the moment which I like but doesn’t have a removable module per se
I was using the Brevite Jumper backpack before this, which I loved, but I prefer the Moment Setup because this backpack that I now use partner.shopmoment.com/4PvWQ3 has loads of pockets and compartments and can fit the camera cubes in too. Plus it's weathersealed unlike the Brevite Jumper.
@@TamaraGabrielUK would be awesome if you could do a review of it! I hear the sternum straps aren't removable? 🤔
Being UK, why don't you film 4K 50p.
I only use high frame rates when I want to slow footage down. Otherwise, I shoot in 25fps.
