How much is this thing?
Im worried about the price 😆

😂😂😂
To be honest, back then the TVs were actually harmful for your eyes because they sent blue light right on your eyes. But nowadays the TVs/phones or even this drone for instance, has protection for your eyes. Your parents were not wrong after all.
For those that are interested, this FPV drone costs $1000 for the bundle which includes both the controller and the headset. And costs $500 for only the controller.
For extra info, the max flight time is about 23 minutes. It can fly up to 27m/s and its range is 13km. This drone also supports Android and iOS.
23 mins is poor
@@euanscotland 23 minutes is a lifetime for FPV drones. The average is 4 to 8 minutes. This isn't a flying tripod like a Mavic.
The DJI RC 3 is $199, and the motion controller 3 is $99. Not sure where you got $500 from

Clarification: an fpv drone isn't a drone controlled by motion, it's all drones with first person view
Just what I was looking for, and now I don't have to say it.
Anyway, it looks like bruv didn't study lol.
Perhaps in the next iteration they add a stereo camera for 3D view.
I promise you, nobody was confused by that
@jozefdoyle4621 maybe there's some people that don't know about fpv so they'd take that as the definition
And if that’s too complicated to understand.. *FPV* stands for *First Person View*

I'm Generation X, and I'm LOVING being alive in this age. I'm hoping to see posts of some of the imaginative ways people can record with this. Thank you for creating this "short"!!!
Just so y'all know, the goggles also work with the Mini 4 Pro, and I'm pretty sure they also work on the latest Air. You can buy them separate, and pair them via the RC 2 controller.

@@daKnighty My box says RC2.
@@worgle123yes
Also once they release an O4 air unit the goggles and maybe controller will work with that too.
You are right it is the RC2 since that is what the mini 4 pro uses, I have no idea what they were on about, maybe that the DJI FPV remote controller 3 works with the goggles and avata 2?
There’s a mini 4?

The military already uses these
That's been a thing for like 30 years, kiddo. Military has had in-the-field drone operation stuff like this for a long time.
Better yet, we have had mainstream remote flight drone operation for around 25 years.
Rly boys didnt know about the military what is that do they come to a neighborhood near u ? Since they have all the latest tech
Fam Russia is already using these in Ukraine
@@AndRei-yc3ti are they winning yet?
this is the closest thing you can get to the iron man suit
13k is the technical limitation, legally in the uk you can go 400m out, 100m up and need a spotter to do fpv. Also you will need an A2COFC certificate that close to buildings on top of the flyer id and operator id you need to fly it at all.
Not completely true. The range is only 10 km in the UK due to the lower limits on transmission power.
Your distance and height limits are wrong too. You are allowed up to 120 m from the closest point on the Earth's surface and there is no limit on distance but you need to keep it within unaided visual line of sight.
You aren't allowed to fly it near buildings or people due to its weight, drones under 250g can fly close to people or buildings.
You are right about the flyer and operator ID and that you need a spotter for FPV though.
What’s a spotter guys :)? Is it another person who supervises you?
In the EU I can go 120m high and as for how far I am allowed to fly idk. But I did try to get my avata 2 as far away as I could and I got a good kilometer out of it. After that the connection got bad but I was surrounded by houses so no wonder. I assume it gets way further on an open field so yeah kilometers of range might be real, but as for 13km I am not so sure...
The words you're looking for Nathan Savage are "yes you're correct, sorry I was incorrect".
Glad I don’t live in the UK

@petranhoebers-lk1sb Euros are referred to pounds in the UK, just like how in the US, dollar bills are referred to dollars.
Edit: Pounds are a different currency than Euros. My bad.
Bro's in the creative mode
I HAVE LOVED THIS DRONE SINCE LAUNCH. SO happy to see you reviewing it!
The flying eyes were amazing🤣🤣
The fact that he said it's like an apple vision if you could detach your eyes as if this type of thing hasn't been around long before the apple vision
Which is hilarious since XR/MR consumer HMDs have been around for like 7 years now. Apple is just one more along side other, better options.
Apple invented electricity and the internet.
They also invent apple (see company name), adam, eve and snake.

Ok, I need this to finally live my life as a third person main character
FYI, it has an automated follow mode that can literally do that for you, no controls necessary.
Holy HEK
I also have this, it handles so well for things like videos.

I would love a full video on this!!! I've got this beauty on my wish list. 😂
That is actually really cool! Game irl!
Hear me out.
Full 360 third person view you can MOVE and go anywhere with.
You can LIVE in 3rd person.
Already a thing with DJI drones, they have an automated follow setting. It will track your movements and follow you at the distance and height you set, and is fast enough to follow you in a car (not on the highway tho, lol)
for 27 minutes at a time lol
Honestly, this is simply amazing!!!
Imagine having a mic on it as well, it'd be such a good way to communicate if you're someone who does go out
Keep in mind, this sensor is just slightly larger than the 1/1.31 sensor that you get on the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro.
so you are saying pixel can fly
Third person mode unlocked
Love the joystick controller, much better than the standard two hand controller. Looks way more user friendly and intuitive.

Who else here is a drone?

I bought this. Battery lasted 30 minutes.
The chassis isn't that durable. Hit a tree once I got a cracked chassis and two broken propellers. And it's quite overpriced for its cheap materials.
I think you should do more rsearch on FPV drones. 30 minutes on a drone like that is outstandingly good as normally drones like these regularly only get around 8-20 minutes of flight time. Also the drone is generally not meant to be crashed as it is a drone which are usually meant for racing or sometimes cinema shots as the user generally has full swift movement with free flight and speed to do whatever they wish. As he said the drone has a an Acro button with lets the user do flips with the press of a button. On fpv drones they don’t usually have this as the operator usually does this manually. The drone aruns using is lets say, beginner level, as I assume it’s being used as something to bring in more people into the fpv world. I recommend watching some TH-camrs that film
FPV content and then you’ll properly see what the world of FPV drones is all about. And as to the overpricing I mean it’s a DJI drone so there’s not much else to expect from it as all their drones are overpriced. As for the drone breaking that’s probably due to the lightweight materials used to keep the drone up with its smaller motors.
Hit a parking garage wall and the exact same parts broke for me: it's fun tho
Bro 30 minutes is one of the best for fpv drones. Lmao and dji makes the best drones in the world
Then maybe don’t crash🤔
bro bought the drone without reading anything about it and then decided to make a 0 iq comment about it 💀
Knew this was coming. Second screen makes it easier to fpv while maintaining line of sight awareness.
Mad respect to the software industry engineers on this
I hate how reviewers are NOT telling the actual truth and cons of the device.
It’s a paid review that’s why…
motion sickness gonna go crazy with this one
just dont move your head while flying ..your brain will not confuse
it's actually really not bad, since the image is so high fidelity in the goggles. though if you use the head tracking feature it can mess you up while standing
Believe it or not, motion sickness is not a problem at all
This sounds like unimaginable fun every single day?!!!
You could be going to check the mailbox and put this thing on and have a few minutes of mesmerizing joy while you're still standing there at the mailbox !😅
The drone has a really far range and supports Android and iOS. It's like being in a video game!

now we know it's not an honest review
He didn't really review it though, just described it.
He just use it.
DJI is the real deal. They even expanded to agriculture and theyre the top 1 innovative drones in the drone industry.
Quick but not quick review from a drone newbie who got a Avata2:
Flight: Like he said, it's as easy as a videogame, but real life physics make you crash easily if you are not skilled and reckless
Goggles: Feels nice on the head, even has fans, last quite long, but the cameras on the goggles are not that great (prolly only made for regulations)
Controller: Good and simple, almost like a VR controller, but many say with a proper controller you have better control
Range: In a area surrounded by houses I have managed to get 1km away at a hight of 80m. Gotta try to it on a field before I can confirm if it can go 13km
Battery life: Depends on how and where you fly. I'd say if you fly normal the battery can last you 20 minutes. As for the charging it takes me 40 mins per battery with a 65w charger.
Price: For the average Person quite expensive at 1,2k Euros, but normal for DJI prices. You actually get even more than in the previous model because you get 2 batteries extra for 200 bucks less.
Camera: I ain't a expert in that area but for a normal guy like me it's very very good
Conclusion: For a beginner it's a very fun drone that unfortunately costs a lot. Some things about it like the range are too exaggerated, but for an all arounder beginner fpv drone it does its job extremely well.

fyi, security cams take up a ton of data due to the constant filming, which is why they are usually such a low bitrate and/or resolution.
It's not like there is a cheap way to store petabytes of 4k30fps footage that serve no purpose until something really bad happens that would require that footage to be reviewed.
While cameras are getting better, ways to store that data is not getting cheaper for large commercial data centers.

DJI has basically taken over the drone market. The DJI MIni 4 I use weights less than 250g and can shoot 4k 60 and 4k 100. It’s has obstacle avoidance and you can plan automated routes for it. Just amazing technology in something so small.
Loving the Avata 2! Such a nice jump from my OG Avata!
It looks smaller than the first variation, which probably means the battery is probably even worse cuz I know it only has 20 minutes of flight time for the first one and even though this one is smaller, it also has an exponentially smaller battery reducing its flight time

This tech could be used to make the most immersive irl 3rd person paintball game. Imagine being able to watch the game while switching perspective to different contestants drones.
Bro how do you make such good content. I wish I could do that
finally a legitimate way to play real life in 3rd person
The avata range is great for beginners getting into the fpv hobby, but for the most part, you are better off just flying simulators since they severely lack power and agility. I get they are supposed to be more cinewhoop drones but still slow and heavy for its size
Had no idea a second one or a third pair of goggles was even coming out LOL
Basically we want to fly, but the laws of physics can't make it happen.
This is DOPE !
But the only disadvantage is that - when you are engrossed in FPV, u cant look for obstacles behind or on the either sides.
Needs a full video of its own.
You should leave links to everything you buy in your videos on a website or something then connect that website to your accounts so we all can find the stuff you buy
