- FIV[E] POINTer to represent Patch 5.0 aka Shadowbringers.
From a meme about "not reading the macro" into a full-fledged GMV, I planned to release this before the end of the year but due to creative blocks and just pure laziness, it ended up taking a bit longer.
But, I'm glad a took the time with this project. There were many times I crammed some random angles for a scene but they didn't feel right so going back to fix them proved to be much better for the content flow I was aiming for.
This is actually the 2nd GMV I've released for FFXIV but due to malders in music companies in Japan, it was taken down for getting too popular (I'm 99% sure I'm on a JP music label watchlist because this isn't the first time and it's only for JP songs). It's also another reason why I'm using a non-JP song this time - because most western labels allow the music to be used for such hobby-related videos, they just disable monetization and take the ad revenue which I'm more than happy to oblige.

Thanks! The NPC profiles work like a glamour, made possible with the SSTool/Concept Matrix developed by the FFXIV modding community.
The cinematic camera movements tho!!!!! How did you get the camera to move so fluidly while the character is walking, if you don't mind me asking?
Those movements were done with an Xbox controller hooked up to the PC but any PC-compatible controller should work fine!

Yup! It's smoother with a controller so I have one hooked up to my PC.

Thanks! As for custom animations it's only available through 3rd party tools like CMTool which are extremely helpful for people who want a bit more customization for screenshots/poses.
First of all, you did an amazing job, watching the video was a pure pleasure for the eyes ! But I have a question, how does the Miqo'te have tatoos because I'm trying to add some tattoos to mine, and I just can't find it :/
Thank you! Sorry to say but the game does not have tattoos available (other than small clan marks or star/heart shapes) so the full body ones you see in this video were made possible only via 3rd party mods.

The ending raid scenes? They're all recorded live during the battle but as for the last raid (Titan), that was doing via the duty recorder when it was still available.

@@raydark733 Yup! I knew most of the fights well enough to be able to do record for a few seconds but I did tell the groups beforehand just in case I died.

this looks so good, the game itself as well as your gposes and the editing :D how do you achieve this ?!
As for the graphical aspect, it's running with Reshade (custom shaders) tweaked to certain settings, and the gpose movement is done with an Xbox controller I have hooked up to my PC.

How can you use the LB3 outside a dungeon?
LB3 animation usage outside dungeons was only possible with the usage of 3rd party tools but unfortunately even that is not working at the moment due to changes in 5.4.

@@udonlarge good thing i want it for a tank lol and any specific pvp thing to do? and where do i turn in marks? anytime i google pvp gearing all i get is stuff about the looks of the armor sets >.
@@zeozelos You can just do the daily duty roulette for PvP to farm wolf marks and they can be traded at the Wolves' Den
