Hey guys, I know this video has only been out for 3 weeks and i'm really glad everyone's enjoying it so far but please refrain from re-cutting my footage and uploading without asking. I've already had to send out a lengthy message to a certain user for doing so and it was quite obvious from my own gameplay being in the video as well. Though the cutscenes in my GMV are without borders and have no watermark, they are heavily color graded so I can tell if they're being reused. I think if I make the next one, it'll focus on C&D since A&B are quite similar and there aren't that many more cutscenes to play with in B. I'll probably make another A&B GMV if I have time in the future.

Hey there! Awesome GMV, I enjoyed it a lot. I have a question though, do you by chance know anyone here who uploads NieR: Automata cutscenes without the gray borders and without subtitles? I really want to make a GMV of the game but I've had no luck so far.
Glad you enjoyed it! If you check out the conversation I had with epicblue down below I explain how I managed to extract them from the game itself. As of right now I don't know anyone who uploaded the cutscenes without any borders and even then, ripping them from TH-cam wouldn't give you the best possible quality.
Yes! But we don't actually have an option to do that in-game. I pulled the cutscene files from the core game files so they are in their "raw" form without any borders (and no audio either but it works fine for me since i'm layering music over it).
You'll need to convert the .usm files in the steam directory for NieR, the data/movie folder. Just be warned that the game lists all cutscenes in chronological order BUT they also include ALL the different possible route cutscenes in that order so if you haven't cleared all the endings you might spoil some of the upcoming cutscenes in other routes.
