Exactly right about the windows. They want to bring the outside inside. Camp close to nature..
Can't sleep in
Hi Rob. I love the giant windows in this Scotty! This trailer just has the right look and presentation on the out side that is really hard to get right. And this one has that magic size, shape and style that is so often just not quite right.
Many trailers have all the right ingredients and everything needed to have that oh so right look, but, as Agent 86 Maxwell Smart would say, “Just missed it by that much.” But this one is “just right!”. On the outside. But the inside needs a lot of work. The paneling is just so wrong. However, I am confident you will figure it out and make the interior “Just Right!”
I will enjoy watching this one.
Oh, by the way, watch out for the garage door opening. You hit it with this trailer while you were backing the trailer in. Don’t want you accidentally tearing up your world headquarters production facility.
I saw that. It was a close one.
And so it begins!
Won't be long now.
The Little size is too cute 🎉😂
Very cute
The skins look in great shape, the inside is another story, lol
Stay tuned
I have an ‘82 front kitchen I would love rebuilt!
That would be a cool project.
Cute camper
Cute wife
I didn't even realize that Scotty was still producing in the 80's
They went through some changes
❤❤❤
Finally
Wow, like the old saying goes "that thing is rougher than a night in jail"...
Just the way I like them.
I'm doing a full ground up on a 19ft 71 Holiday Rambler Vacationer that had all that 80's brown paneling(I guess Holiday was ahead of the time for ugly brown paneling, ha!). Now it's all clear coated birch paneling. I couldn't bring myself to leave any of that brown. For the cushions I found these camper cushion slip covers on Tem u that work nice, she could keep the original but spruce it up with a removable slip cover. I always look forward to a new video from you. Keep up the good work!
Can't go wrong with birch! Thanks for watching.
👍
Thanks
Pretty cool, it still has a cool retro shape and vibe
I would almost say....Cute
@@RobTheRebuilder hahaha I was going to say that but didn't want to offend anyone
The fire at the Irwin, PA. factory was in 1997, and John Serro died in 1998.
Thanks for that info!
Yes sir! Keep up the great work! @@RobTheRebuilder
The under the sink cabinet needs to be for storage of pots, pans and cleaning supplies imho. How about the ac going under the front seating area on the street side? You could put it next to the upper kitchen cabinet over the bed area, might have to use a smaller window.
The customer had a certain look in mind. Very special camper for here.
The customer gets to decide even if they don't want amber shellac, lol. Btw, I'm useing amber shellac in mine and think it looks fantastic. Got mine at Ace hardware for $54 a gallon after my discount of $5.
We got one and it fit under the sink
Good to know
I’ll miss the Burger King colors
I hope you will enjoy my chouces.
People need to realize, AC needs to be up high, cool the air, then it falls. If you were laying on the floor, maybe, but otherwise not!
A small fan can cure the problem
It helps but can’t imagine it’s the same. Basic HVAC, hot air rises, the intake is up closer to the hot air so draws that and humidity out I’m assuming? If you’re away from shore power, extra draw on batteries but hey, who am I, lol?
I always stop by for your amazing camera angles! And really enjoy the do it twice theater too!
I'm just wondering out loud here, so don't overreact but wouldn't having the air conditioner on the roof be a good solution to the space issue? I know you would have to beef up the structure, and it may not be possible, but, maybe???
Or you could extend the frame a couple of feet....
All good choices but not in the budget.
She had you at amber shalac
100%
I want a 10 ft Scotty to turn into a sewing center. Anybody have one to sell cheap or trade for a 1976 16 ft wilderness. Want to pull with a Honda Element..
FB Marketplace has them occasionally
How much will this cost them?
Out of respect for the owners I don't talk numbers.
