Spray technique not great

Rob, it seems every trailer you work on is different in terms of that roof to wall seam. Some cut the roof skin flush, lap the wall skin over it, others lap the wall skin over the roof 1/2" then apply the roof skin over that then lap 1/2" (finally covered by the J-rail). Were they all just built/designed differently? It seems you would invite leaking by lapping side skin over roof skin.

I need a shore power input just like that. What is it called and where is a good place to get them? Thanks

Rob, I'm catching up on your past video catalog... You briefly mention the metal support for the table... can you elaborate? What is that? how does it work/help? what am I missing?

I see you run your frame boards horizontal all the way the length of the trailer. Is that structurally sound?

Rob, we’re not trolling you with the dyslexia comments, I try to watch all of your videos. You have perfected this craft and are the only person I have seen that can knock these things out in a reasonable time, and have a quality build.

Rob, remember when it was White? I’d like a gallon of WHITE PAINT PLEASE. Now, Rob, we have 8,000 shades of white, and if the sun shines from the East on Tuesday, you can see a hint of white in the white, lol

Rob, I always like your videos, always comment, already subscribed, lol. Also, gluing the 1x6 on ahead of time, it keeps the panel from buckling as you bend it. I know it’s more work, but the old fashioned way of kilz then paint is still the best.

What are the dimensions of the porta-potty unit? And once it’s brought out into the use position, is their enough room for the uses to sit on it and comfortably make their deposits and clean up afterwards? I myself have found many RV bathrooms to tight as to be unusable.

Rob, someone in Larry’s class invented a new rebuild method we call hybrid. It’s not piecemeal, it’s not frame off, but it’s cool. She pulled the skin off, left the walls on the frame, then made each piece to match, then temporarily screwed it to the old frame, piece by piece. That way, she matched the frame exactly. Your way worked fine I am sure, but wanted to share that with you. I really Enjoy your channel and builds. Thanks.

I just ordered my 3rd box of the Dicor Butyl for my renovation. I thought 1 box would be plenty. It's amazing how fast the rolls disappear. The Dicor brand is some of the best I've used so far. Makes sense since the lap sealant is great as well. Thanks for taking the time to make all these videos! I appreciate it.

Hey there! This was a great video. So great that I think I will rebuild the windows in my 1965 Serro Scotty Sportsman. Just one thing, the screws that hold the windows and eyebrows are extremely rusted that I can't tell what kind of screw it is. The screws seem to have a dimple in the middle. How would I get that type of screw out? I will use DW40 to loosen them up but what bit do I use to back it out? Thank you for your advice!

i used the same Dicor Butyl tape on my Scotty im working on, i saw it in one of your older videos when i was binge watching the channel. i have the same new axle and trailer brakes as the one in your video, what brake controller do you recommend?

Hi Rob. This looks like you are having fun. I'm looking at one that has a Serro Scotty Sportsman logo but it's only 10 long. The question you might be able to answer is related to ground clearance. The trailer sits 12" above the ground but has a drop in the center that is only 4" above the ground. Will this be a problem? I'm not a trailer camping person but since my wife will no longer sleep on the ground I'm looking to upgrade Might I remove that drop down section to make it higher clearance? Thanks

Rob, what thickness Luan do you use and where do you get it? At Lowes and HD we only have 5 mm. I really need to find a quality 1/8” wood paneling. The 1/8” they stock is only pressed board, (Masonite)

I’m sure it’s not cheap, but it must make them feel good it’s all new underneath

Rob, why not screw on a 2x2 on the bottom of the plywood sides before installing them? That way it would hold it to the exact height to screw it in without struggling to hold it? I also wonder they didn’t do that from the factory and just leave it? I know there’s probably 100 reasons but I can’t understand why? Thanks
