Dont give YT too much of your business. Especially if you don't want to share later on in your journey. I struggle with this myself. Scrapped a few of my videos bc i felt i shared too much.

Keep going, I notice a few things....Yes, the algorithm changes constantly for content creators, and will switch up at a moments notice, second topics that the algorithm will push to the front are niche/trend topics in various categories. However, even that is hit or miss depending on current views and what consumers who use TH-cam are searching for. Here is the key, Useful information will always be searched for. Topic keywords, are a big deal. When you describe your video use the keywords that the algorithm already knows and see if that helps. Another thing to watch out for is shadowbanning. TH-cam says they dont. But too many content creators have experienced this. Shadowbanning is another way that the algorithm supresses content from being seen to a larger audience on the platform. Definitely play with the times of releasing content. You do not have to release videos 7 times a day, thats a myth about constantly uploading. Twice a week maybe 3 is enough.

@@Snicoleliving Yes, you can tell your video is being shadowbanned when your regular view count either goes to zero or no views, or way less than when you release a new video. It's how they "hide" smaller content creators from a larger audience on the platform. That means your videos will not come up in youtube search, it will be plummeted into the abyss of other content creators. It's a nasty game they play, when you're not making them money, or on they feel you have broken one of their many Community guideline rules. They like who they like so their is bias as well, and will push their content even if it sucks, as long as the audience engages with it, and its making them good money having it on their platform. Gotta speak the truth. TH-cam is becoming more conservative, and more celebrity central. It can be really dark.
