Have you tried the Lake Vrnwy Half marathon. I have run it several times since 80 s. I rate 5 stars. I lap around the Lake, great scenery and used to get a T shirt. Organised by runners 👍😊
Tim, the poo jockey poster from Warwick was how I actually found your channel. I was kicking myself for not taking a snap of it myself. Trying to find TH-cam videos of the race, which there were no too many, to see if anyone had mentioned it, was how I stumbled upon you and, as we seen to have a very similar sort of humor ( and a massive Partridge fan , like myself, to boot) I have been hooked since. The poster was the funniest thing I had seen for a while, then, that was topped by your most professional of warm-ups I have ever seen. They need to employ this on those run through event warm ups. Cannot comment on most of the races you list as I have not done most of them myself. But your reviews have now cemented my decision not to do most of them myself 😄 I Will be running the virtual London Marathon next year, by running a real marathon on the same day. Stratford marathon or Blackpool marathon are the contenders I think, so with it coming in your top 4, that's food for thought. Actually, that medal looks like it was modeled on Brett Elsmore, (OB1 brand on TH-cam) from Redditch. I wonder if he knows? Might go and tell him 😄
That poster was comfortably the best thing about that day. Couldn’t believe my luck. Have a watch of Ep8 “Running with your Dog”. The Virtual London? Hadn’t heard of it. Might give it a blast. That poster could be my finish line. GET ME SOME SUBBERS….
@@middleagedrunningmanThe virtual London Marathon is 30 notes and you get the same tee and medal that the actual runners do. You have to do it on the same day as the real one, but, you can also break it up. If you want to run half in the morning then have dinner then do the other half in the evening, you can. As long as you complete the distance in the 24 hours from midnight on the day of the real one, you're golden. They even give you a running number if you are sad enough to use it and they also supplied a folding paper finishing line which you can use if you are even sadder 😂 I'll try my best with subbers but I have no real influence and even less real friends 😄
@@mrk2450 lack of friends?? Don’t know what you are talking about…. (A bloke who chats to his camera phone) I might actually do that virtual half for an episode. Will have a Google.
great feedback, of the ten, the only one I have done is Warwick, which was as support to a newbie runner, so the distance was the important aspect not the view, might give Kenilworth or London Landmarks a go ( If I can get through the ballot!!)
After running Broadway half and seeing you filming on course , I found your channel. Quality 👍🏻 And as someone who’s ran kenilworth half a couple of times , I have to say I agree with your number one position . Keep up the good work
Congratulations Kenilworth, “ he that outlives this day “ MARM at it’s most eloquent, and a special mention to runners up ( literally ) Broadway “whose conscience doth make cowards of us all “ Nige and Fiona have redeemed this noble town. SUBSCRIBE - the hour grows late !

Both great. You should get into Kenilworth if you are timely.

Saw me filming? Nearly fell a couple of times. Yep, Kenno is a belter. Will do both of those again next year!
