I love how Jerri went into this expecting an apology yet Tina made a pointed comment about Jerri's role in the beef jerky incident and Colby feels guilty about everyone EXCEPT Jerri being voted off. xD
When you look back at this season, I think Jerri gets an unfair rep and Colby comes off as unnecessarily harsh to her. The group obviously had an issue with Jerri, but you have to imagine what it was like for her to go home, watch the show, and listen to all the things the person she thought was her friend had said about her. He kept knocking her over and over in confessionals, lied to her, and wouldn't even apologize, and she wasn't anything but friendly with him.
I absolutely agree! Jerri did *nothing* to warrant the backlash she got from this show. Colby was an absolute arrogant ass and I'm glad he's never won in his subsequent returns to the show.
100%. I will not deny that Jerri was somewhat bitchy towards the others in her tribe. However that does not excuse the fact that almost any time the opportunity arose, everyone else in her tribe except Amber was talking shit about her behind her back. And like you said, Jerri was nothing but nice to Colby and actually had a thing for him which is why getting stabbed in the back by him hurt so much. Hell I think what happened with Jerri was part of the reason why Amber was so wary of a relationship with Boston Rob because she was worried she'd find out Rob had been leading her on for 40 days like Colby had with Jerri
@psychokinrazalon I disagree. Colby was never in control of anything when it comes to the social game. We saw that in both All-Star games. It was Jerri who convinced him to vote off MD and it was Tina who convinced him to vote off both Mitchell & Jerri. He never made a single decision. Only decision he made was to take Tina to the F2 and that was b/c Tina played him. Colby went to the end b/c he won the challenges. He knew he wouldn't beat Tina and yet he took her b/c she's a great strategist!
@Dannst3r Well Colby was gone away on the reward when their camp got washed away and that's when Tina impressed me the most she went into the water to rescue some vital stuff for the camp and that was some quick flowing river water so I can't begrudge her this victory. Up until that Colby had it in the bag.
@oldfriendofmine I agree Jerri is wrong to go through Cal's backpack, and I'm not saying he's an angel. But Jeff has said he's pretty sure Cal did have the beef jerky.
@psychokinrazalon I thought so too at first but then I bought the DVD and listened to every commentary and watched every secret scenes etc. where Colby told that he wanted to vote off Elisabeth but Tina convinced him to vote off Jerri. After that I respected Tina more so I give Tina more credit nowdays. She's way too underrated while Colby is way too overrated. Colby WAS a great player when it comes down to challenges but as a strategist and a social player, hell no! Tina did a better job.
On my recent rewatch, I realized what a condescending shrew Tina was. I’m glad they show more of her shrew alpha female side in Blood vs Water instead of the fake edit she got this season.
Most deserving winner as in ever? 🤔 I disagree. I think the most deserving winners are the ones with a flawless victory. Tina did good. But Colby, who I don't even like, earned his 3 out 7 jury votes. Very close result.
@adheckle Yeah well Colby didnt give two shits about Jerri's vote and I have more respect for him for it. He could have lied to make it sound like it was a mistake getting rid of her, but he said to hell with her vote.
These were "real" people who had no template at all. No social media to take a crash course on tutorials such as TH-cam, Tiktok or Zoom etc. Just TV, radio interviews etc. and reruns/recorded shows. LOL. This was literally the ground floor of this hugely successful long running "reality" show that I was lucky enough to follow in the beginning b/c it was entertaining as hell and thought provoking as a social study on human behavior strictly for me me from a scientist point of view only. Yes, some like Colby and Jerri tried to cash in on their instafame afterward to parlay it into success, Colby most definitely but I do not believe this was a scripted moment and this show was a reflection at the time of people's true feelings and thoughts. Fascinating truly to revisit that. We only had the message boards to dissect this but we had a blast and the message boards were more fun and more entertaining than the show could ever be.So thank you, Jeff Probst but thank you, SURVIVOR SUCKS. You both-the show and the boards- will always have a special place in my heart and memory of a time gone by.
@CreepyFinnishGuy You're right about Mitchell, but Tina DID NOT convince Colby to vote out Jerri. He wanted her out just as much as she did. Tina DID NOT play Colby to take her to the end, Colby knew it would be harder to beat Tina than Keith, but he was still confident he could beat her. The reason he didn't vote her out was because he wanted to make sure that whoever won deserved to win.
Medusa Gorgon I think it was because she was a motherly figure around camp while Russell was compared to "a little troll" so they weren't exactly their America's sweetheart pick. LOL
Tina is blunt and has a great social game and wins. Russel is blunt and has a terrible social game, making people hate him and hate living with him and gets shit on fairly for terrible social game.
1. She got Kimmi to tell her that Debb voted for Jeff. This information gave Ogakor control of the game at the merge. 2. She willingly gave up immunity to Keith at the merge, knowing that he was the Ogakor member most at risk. 3. She convinced Colby to switch his vote to Mitchell, instead of Keith, thus ensuring her a better spot moving forward. 4. She bravely swam into the raging flood waters to save the tribe's rice. 5. She orchestrated the Jerri vote. She didn't even need Colby, since she already had the Kucha members on board. Colby went along with it. 6. She manipulated Colby into taking her to the Final 2. 7. Listen carefully to what each person said when they voted for her to win. There is your answer.
@Eikkanen I don't know what meth you've been taking, but Tina WAS NOT the mastermind in this game. Of course Colby carried her, she wouldn't have made it to FTC if he hadn't.
I love how Jerri went into this expecting an apology yet Tina made a pointed comment about Jerri's role in the beef jerky incident and Colby feels guilty about everyone EXCEPT Jerri being voted off. xD
LMAO. Jerri gave Colby the deathstare. hahaha. i think jerri wanted some sort of an apology from colby. and that probably cost him the million
When you look back at this season, I think Jerri gets an unfair rep and Colby comes off as unnecessarily harsh to her. I think Jerri was worse, she was way too entitled/presumptuous.
Colby was the real villain of the season
1:52 Tina's like "Man another one vote to my collection :)
@psychokinrazalon I disagree. Colby was never in control of anything when it comes to the social game. We saw that in both All-Star games. and what is more funnier than that - in All Stars and Heroes vs Villains, Jerri placed higher than Colby
Logan Reads they should make funnier a word then. English is so inconsistent it hurts.
She only placed one or 2 spots higher than him in both tho
@@anrick1362 "Funnier" is a word in English. IDK what Logan Reeds was talking about.
Colby is a sore loser
It looks like even Amber at least half-enjoyed Tina's burn.
Jerri is so freakin hot
Glenn Wheatcroft Woah
You are blind
she is!
@Dannst3r Well Colby was gone away on the reward when their camp got washed away and that's when Tina impressed me the most she went into the water to rescue some vital stuff for the camp and that was some quick flowing river water so I can't begrudge her this victory. Lol Jerri was clearly NOT satisfied by Colby’s answer. XD
By either. Love how unapologetic they are (although I think this was the fourth time a jury member asked them if they had regrets or felt guilty).
@oldfriendofmine I agree Jerri is wrong to go through Cal's backpack, and I'm not saying he's an angel. But Jeff has said he's pretty sure Cal did have the beef jerky.

THE FACE AT THE END....
i love Jerri, just not in this season ahahha
On my recent rewatch, I realized what a condescending shrew Tina was. I’m glad they show more of her shrew alpha female side in Blood vs Water instead of the fake edit she got this season.
tina was a precious smol bean 97% of the time, but i didn't approve of the way she treated jerri.
They were always mesn to Jerri. Looking back to The Australian Outback, they were bullying her.
You probably don't know what it was like to live with her 24/7.
@@imarunner89 neither you do. We all can only talk about what we saw.
Tina most deserving winner
but colby won 5 times
Jacob5664 Colby has never won
Andrew Moore I think he meant Colby won 5 challenges
Most deserving winner as in ever? 🤔
I disagree. I think the most deserving winners are the ones with a flawless victory. Tina did good. But Colby, who I don't even like, earned his 3 out 7 jury votes. Very close result.
Nah, I gotta disagree. Parvati deserved her Season 16 win and Kim deserved her Season 24 win. Those two girls played damn near flawless games.
Lots of people played three times and never won.
Regrets about Alicia but not betraying Amber? What did Amber do to Colby?@?
Bradley Carter Colby didn’t vote Amber out Tina Keith Elisabeth and Rodger did that was the only vote Colby wasn’t informed off
@adheckle Yeah well Colby didnt give two shits about Jerri's vote and I have more respect for him for it. He could have lied to make it sound like it was a mistake getting rid of her, but he said to hell with her vote.

@carla thornell I know! Everyone says i'm crazy when i say i don't like her.
How is it shallow to vote out alicia for being a physical threat? Seems logical
Agree :)
@supermithos555 She got more votes.
@CreepyFinnishGuy You're right about Mitchell, but Tina DID NOT convince Colby to vote out Jerri. He wanted her out just as much as she did. @CreepyFinnishGuy Well, apparantly half of the jury thought he was a great player, seeing as how he was only one vote shy of winning.
I was so pissed thjat Colby didn't win this. He deserved it more then any other survivor in the shows history/
Colby was really really bad at the social part of this game.
Really?
Tina is blunt and wins.
Russell is blunt and gets shit on.
Medusa Gorgon Tina was actually nice to people and Russell was the opposite
Medusa Gorgon I think it was because she was a motherly figure around camp while Russell was compared to "a little troll" so they weren't exactly their America's sweetheart pick. LOL

Colby should have won. Tina is so fake. I was thrilled when she was voted off first in all-stars. Best moment of the season.
carla thornell Tina’s one of the best Survivor players of all time for sure. Quit being petty
Zach Nikolaus Of all time? She's good, but she's not in my top ten. But hey, opinions are opinions, so feel free to disagree.
@Eikkanen I don't know what meth you've been taking, but Tina WAS NOT the mastermind in this game. Of course Colby carried her, she wouldn't have made it to FTC if he hadn't.
