      @@zt1053 Chris didn't really betray her. He had a 4 person alliance with Twila, Scout, Eliza at that point. Julia was not part of that since she was up high the girls alliance with Ami and LeAnne which is why Twila, Scout, and Eliza who were at the bottom flipped with Chris. Unless Chris promised her he would keep her if she took him on the food challenge since he was hungry, or something happened we never saw, he didn't even betray her in the first place. The other 4 had a FInal 4 alliance and she was the last one outside that left. Eliza actually betrayed Twila by voting against that at Final 5 and to keep Julie (and yeah I know Eliza hated Twila, but still technically speaking). Unless there was something they didn't show.

      @@random_jae5886 I think Julie and Twila both felt Ami would be easier to beat in a F2 than Chris or the one legged man, since she is abrasive (Twila is too of course). Once Twila saw she was Ami's #4 and never making it she changed course again.

    Survivor is traumatic. People are hurt by things they'd be willing to do to others. That's a human element that cannot be removed from it, and both players and us as the audience need to accept. It's the hardest and most interesting and most heartbreaking aspect of Survivor.

    Chris could have won either way: if he went with Twila and Scout OR Eliza and Julie.
    If he went to the final three with Julie and Eliza, assuming he won the final challenge, and took Eliza to the final two over Julie. Chris would have won.
    Sarge, Chad, Scout, and Twila probably would have easily voted for Chris. Ami would have voted for Eliza undoubtedly. Leann and Julie are a bit of a grey area but I could have seen them more than likely voting for Chris.
    No way Chris could have won against Julie. Chris would have gotten votes from Sarge and Chad undoubtedly. But Ami, Leann, Eliza (she said on the commentary), and even Twila (she also said so in the commentary) would have voted for Julie. Scout is a gray area, but she wouldn’t have really tipped the scale.
    Now back to the final immunity challenge with the archer endurance thing if it was Julie, Eliza, and Chris. Now, Eliza might not have lasted too long on the challenge given the frail state of her body, she might not have been able to hold the arrow up too long. Julie probably would have put up a good fight because she has more muscle than Eliza, and she’s got some athletic ability that gives her the endurance strength. BUT Chris might have had the advantage over Julie in the challenge with his work background in highway repair (handling heavy equipment and being on unstable surfaces for long periods of time). So it would have been interesting to see.

      In the game of Survivor, it's the people who make it the most interesting. It's both easier yet harder in the latter years b/c people are well aware of feeling people out and making alliances etc. But not everyone is astute at people/social aspect. It's the ones who understand the human condition on a fundamental basis like a Sophie who know people will vote with their guts and head over their heart and others who will only vote with their heart. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand people, b/c every cast is different albeit has similar archetype personalities. for every Africa Tom(loyal) and Borneo Rudy(loyal) you have the hardcore competitors like Boston Rob and Russell, who will pretty much never win unless you get a jury of bunnies or go head to head with a loathesome creature like Phillip.

    Idk maybe because he is one of the next to go since him and Abbi are officially fucked at this point? And again Sophie and Albert only kept Coach around in the first place so they could use him to there advantage. Sophie was the complete mastermind behind that whole season, but the edit wouldn't let you believe that. And more importantly Coach pissed of way to many with his religious bullshit and that is a very bad end game player.

    But Julie was the juror speaking and Chris was the defendant standing in her judgement. He doesn't have the freedom to conduct himself in the manner she does.

    @HarryPotterII Todd's overrated as all hell. He had a good answer to Jean Robert, but that's it. Everybody else who voted for him decided to vote for him before they showed up.
    Julie and Eliza were both obviously up for grabs and Chris handled them brilliantly.
    Todd might be in the top 5, but he has nothing on Chris or Tom.

    It really pissed me off that Julie and Eliza voted for Chris. Twyla didn't get along with them, but she was straight up with them. Chris actually screwed them over, and they didn't care.

    • @clamshell6863

      oldfriendofmine Chris was nicer to them and did help them a few times when they were getting voted out. Twila was always mean and making fun at them even moreso Eliza. Chris, cheated them but he genuinely liked them and admitted he did it as a strategy. They were mad, but they respected his game more than Twila.

      > It really pissed me off that Julie and Eliza voted for Chris.
      Take a look at how Twila treated Eliza and at how Chris treated Eliza. Night and day. Also, Chris brought Julie her hat, which is a perfectly valid strategy for winning a vote. And he knew Twila's personality well enough to make her trip herself up.

    • @kimcapri9178
      @kimcapri9178 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why should they care? Twila was an outright Bee to their face and everyone knew this going in and all throughout. In the end the jury rewards who THEY want to get the money. We need to get over it.

    Pete isn't a good player. Not even a decent player. Coach's game was good in some ways but very weak in other ways. This wasn't shown but Sophie and to some extent Albert were really the ones running the show and Coach was just a figurehead. He was very weak at FTC and he made a F3 deal with Ozzy who he knew that could never beat in a million years in a Jury vote and he would betray him immediately anyways. The only thing praise worthy that Coach did was get Cochran to flip.

    • @russianskatingfan
      @russianskatingfan 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Coach didnt even do that. The secret scenes show it is Sophie who convinced Cochran to flip, not Coach.

    • @kimcapri9178

      Coach is Coach. A Fruity Two Shoes. Sophie and Brian H are two of the most highly under-rated strategists of all time. They controlled it from the GET GO, whereas Kim S and Danni B had a few hiccups. Both were likeable enough and worked hard at keeping their friends close and their enemies closer. Both were smart at keeping their loyal subjects(Coach/Jan) and hard working soldier shields(Albert/Helen.)
