Why European leaders are divided over the Chinese president's visit | DW News

  • Xi Jinping has arrived in Paris for his first trip to Europe in five years. Trade tensions, China’s relations with Russia and Ukraine and the Middle East are expected to dominate the agenda. By including Russia's allies Hungary and Serbia on his agenda, Xi is sending a clear message that could divide Western allies.

    Yea no. China is definitely not there to "reset relations". it is only just visiting 3 countries. China is just visiting China friendly Hungary, Serbia, and only visiting France which is China's Oldest Foreign relation country. its a recruitment drive for BRICs.

    • @JCSY1
      @JCSY1 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      ICS is not targeting to recruit any Europe or hardcore US allies but EU or any countries friendly to China and Russia are always welcome to explore with BRICS. Not for those war mongering or proxy countries that follow the US blindly.

    To be clear, its Gen. Chiang Kai-shek of the Nationalist Kuomintang Party who had been the President of the Republic of China from 1928 until 1949. He was also the original signatory, as the leader of the Republic of China (ROC), to the establishment of the United Nations (NOT Mao Zedung of the CCP). He also coordinated with Allied Leaders British PM Winston Churchill and US Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt to discuss terms for the Japanese surrender during World War II. So the "One China Policy" under the CCP is not appropriate. The ROC under Chiang Kai-Shek should have been recognized by the U.N. as the pioneer member of the U.N., not the PRC. Incidentally, why does the U.N. and its Sec. Gen. Antonio Guterres STILL consider China as a DEVELOPING COUNTRY, despite its being the 2nd largest economy in the world, its ability to build their military and nuclear arsenal to eclipse the USA & Russia, its advancement in technology on robotics and even in AI that surpasses the USA, its advancement in Space Exploration & abilities to send its own Space Lab in the earth's orbit and Space Probes to the Lunar Surface? Is it to give more benefits and special considerations to exempt it from major U.N. programs like "Climate Change" mitigation programs, to allow its government to subsidize its manufacturing industry to give it an advantge over its rivals, and to allow it to pollute the earth by building more coal fired power generators to drive its economy faster and cheaper than the rest of the world? Is Sec. Gen. Antonio Guterres under the pocket of China's Pres. Xi Jinping? Looks like it, hey!

    First step to global change is open communications and understanding what divides us all geopolitically. Asia shares more resources with the world than any other country. World change will happen with an open mind without prejudice and misconception from western political fear and jealousy. Demand for money and global climate change affects everyone around the world. Politics and religion divides all of us in a way that rational common sense perception is hard to understand.
    I am so sorry.
    Wasted 30 years of my life to help bring awareness and to prepare the world for climate change. I feel like a failure to our world.
    I honestly don't understand why people don't listen or understand the serious impacts of the daily lives around the world.
    The solution to climate change is so simple. You can't stop climate change if your trying to capitalize on climate change solutions.
    The cause and effect of climate change and capitalism is cancelling out and actually making things worse.
    Now are you seeing the big picture on what researcher solutions actual are. They want to make more money off the problem money created.
    Inflation hasn't stopped for centuries. Carbon Capture is a scam to capitalize of carbon tax and who pays the tax? Everyone and that will cause more demand for money causing more inflation. Common sense.
    The researchers are not using common sense or the governments are manipulating the people. The melting of the ice around the world is causing an error in the data people are using. You see all the flooding around the world right. That is rapid condensation like putting a pot on the stove with water and putting a lid on top. When the heat gets intense against that temporary cooling effect natural disasters-global climate crisis will exponentially get worse. Remember the severe droughts and then all of a sudden global flooding in every country. That is the cause and effect of climate change. Throw in rapid escalation of climate change and natural disasters become more frequent. Global Climate Change isn't slowing down it is speeding up. The slavery to money that humanity created is causing global climate change. Concrete produces more heat than grass. Metal produces more heat than wood. Wood dries up and catches fire. Ocean pressure and vibrational activity from human activity along with climate change causes earthquakes and volcanoes to be more active.
    Inflation causes humans to demand more money so more activity around the world with non essential jobs are created increasing capitalism demands for money. The problem is the demand for money is the cause. Remove money from society and the world will calm down.

      Chinese "socialism" sure seems to take a liking to every far-right, ultra-nationalist, fascist, theocratic and military regime it comes across... With friends like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Myanmar, Hungary, Serbia, Russia, all shining examples of socialism. 😂 Whatever. We have the world we have, not the one we'd like.
