This is unwatchable. Constantly conflating "far-right" with "the right" or anything that's not left. Pretty clear which camp the editors sit in.

May be they have an interest in keeping seats as they are. So many knows what trials could happens if juges where under the control of another political party. This is their biggest fear.
Beyond that, of course a few of the current seat holders are in the hands of the Open Society projects. Other are under control of Masson, who share similar views. The thing they don’t want is new politicians to come in and have a look on current « arrangements » and connections. This is dangerous, like all political changes are dangerous to those holding power positions. Changes will happen. Voters have to right to make their own opinions, whatever media says. This is how democracy works.

So Europeans who would like their governments to prioritize them over foreigners are far right now? A government serving the needs of its own people before fretting over the failures of other nations to manage themselves properly is completely normal. If the Luxembourgish government looking out for Luxembourgers is a shocking turn of events to you that's the clearest sign that you are immaculately dense and you're lying to yourself about the definition of common sense.

Our (Estonia's) Far right party has been denying election results for a year and a half now, because they did badly in the elections and the liberals did good. They have no evidence of any election meddling, yet they continue their spiel nonetheless. And what do other parties "far-right" parties do? Accept them in. I have no faith in ID. They are not just parties that want to prioritize their countries over foreigners.

It's something I've never quite understood, because naturally people would like to assume they're "left" based on their overall views, but then you have actual left-wing governments completely prioritizing non-citizens over citizens, and when it comes to speaking out against it - people label you as a "right-wing" extremist. It's name-calling, and attempts to categorize people into groups in order to keep masses divided - but I'm glad to see this type of conversation / commentary appearing in the mist of the overall insanity.

People talk about far-left all the time when referring to far-left parties, and those parties accept it like a badge of honor. There are conservative right wing parties, namely the EPP. The problem with liberal democracy is that it has less and less in common with democracy because the liberal elites are more and more like a feudal aristocracy living in salons, and the impoverished middle class is more and more like rebellious serfs. The liberal aristocracy calls the parties of rebellious visible serfs right-wing populists as if left-wing extremists, often detached from reality, were not problem . The right wing has no ideas for Europe only back to medieval Europe of warring kingdoms headquartered in the Vatican but left-wing extremists have no good ideas either

Well, it's because so called "centre left" parties like the one in Denmark or Germany gave in to racists in order to appease them. They drew the red line more and more and just ended up with xenophobic and racist ideas, basically normalising them. Which in turn, drew most of the voters to the "original source" instead of those who just want to win their votes back.

European MEPs: Why has energy sector, which was built purely with taxpayers' money, i.e. hydropower and nuclear power, been run down and transferred to the hands of big capital, like the wood processing industry. Which do not need energy BECAUSE THEY PRODUCE THEMSELVES energy in excess of their own use.
Both P.., V... and K.. sell electricity to their owners at cost price. The actual cost price is 0.5 - 1.0 cents per kWh. These companies and all counterpower and district heating companies that also produce electricity get district heating on top of the sale. Only a heat exchanger is needed instead of a condenser.
In addition, it is clear when you compare the power (MW) in relation to the output (TWh) that you notice that, for example, V.. runs at 40% short load.
This is a fact. It would not be worthwhile to try to deceive those who understand the field.
Why would nature be of interest to MEP S when they are not interested in the most important thing, i.e. money? None of the future MEPs participating in the European elections are interested in the fact that European workers bear the majority of the tax burden, i.e. 7,000 billion euros?
Why don't the players in the derivatives trade (with a volume of 452,900 billion euros) pay enough tax on the 6% average profit they receive? The tax collection (1.9%) would generate a whopping 8,000 billion euros.
Why don't those who already have all of our money and capital want to participate in society's obligations?
Before, at the beginning of the 20th century, when the industry was being built, the factory owners built the apartments, hospitals, schools and pensions THEMSELVES with their own money, although even that money was collected thanks to the employees.
Doesn't the truth no longer apply that what is not right or reasonable cannot be law?
You might want to check out ESMA's report: EU derivatives market - a first time overview! (Combine data from all six trade repositories)

I hope you also make many videos about the rise of far-left parties, the movement of center-left parties towards the far-left, and the dangers of far-left policies to Europe and the world. The obsession of the mainstream media with far-right parties without concerns for the bigger dangers of far-left puzzles me.
We have several historical and recent examples to show the disastrous consequences of far-left, socialist, and communist policies and it is important to keep the public educated on the dangers of the far-left.
We see the current impact of far-left, socialist, and communist policies in countries such as Venezuela, Cuba, and North Korea. These are existing countries with clear leftwing and socialist policies and we can see how badly they are doing. In recent history, we saw how socialism and communism led to the death of millions of people under Stalin of USSR and Mao of China, denied human rights to millions, oppressed millions and generated wide spread poverty and suffering. The iron curtain was all about far-left, socialist and communist policies on large parts of Europe and we saw their disastrous consequences.
The far-left and socialists should remind us of Lenin, Stalin, Mao, former USSR, Hugo Chavez, Nicolas Maduro, Kim Jong Un, Castro, and many others in recent history. The movement of many leftwing parties in the Western world towards more socialist and far-left policies seem more concerning than this constant obsession and demonization of far-right parties.
Please bring some balance to the debate to help people make better decisions. Thanks

Corrupted? (*Gross corruption is the disruption of the political order by high-ranking state officials (e.g. through rigged elections), and moderate corruption is the unwarranted personal enrichment of state officials through their positions on a more mundane basis. Political corruption is the manipulation of policies, social institutions and practices in order to remain in power, to obtain financial gain or advantage, and to maintain or increase one's status, whether by action or inaction, in the public or private sphere, and whether by individuals or organizations. The word corruption comes from the Latin corruptio meaning 'corrupt state', 'decay' or 'bribery' (*source: Wikipedia).

The worst part is that, just as in the past, "everything is being done legally" (paraphrasing).

There is no use labelling anyone as left or right wing. It is clear, some portion of the society wishes to have another viewpoint. What lesson is to be learnt is, when mainstream parties swing too much to one side, voices will build on the other. Remember Newtons law, every action has an equal and opposite reactions. When one sides pushes extreme open borders, other want nobody to come in, or too much wokeism, sentiments against them build on the other side.

Interesting and multi-faceted piece. Of course the video has a point of view (an intent bias), but what I find far more interesting is the sheer amount of hate comments and just how unbalanced the comment section is...
Either way, to DW's credit they did mention the issues faced with removing the influence of PiS in Poland. That right wing journalist should not have to lose his job regularly because of political views so long as he doesn't break the law. Similarly, if a judge has been appointed by a crony government but contrary to expectation they perform their duty professionally and with integrity, they shouldn't be removed for political reasons... (question for homework: can a judge appointed in a communist regime be ethically acceptable in a post-communist society?) This is an ethical minefield smh the answers are certainly *not* trivial.
At the same time, we can state categorically that systemic politicisation of the courts or the press are wrong and governments should be judged based on their intentions and effectiveness in rectifying such situations. The discussion as to the suitability and ethical standing of the methods employed should then be carried out and governments should be judged in the effort they have put into crafting methods as consistent with good ethics as possible...
    Again, answers are not trivial...
