7:58 I usually put the unsolved blocks in front and do: R' F R' B2 R F' R' B2 R2 Can someone tell me why this isn't used since it's shorter, I'm not a big cuber so idk
It’s because it uses b moves. Especially for 2x2 people don’t typically use b or d moves because it is easier to turn R U F and L. And the algs are performed faster that way
@@cochran3112 so your telling me you solved a pyraminx before 3x3 impressive also 2x2 algorithms are the same as beginners method corner algorithms on a 3x3

When u have the top and bottom side solved, the colors on the side are the ones u look at. For each separate layer the colors could be all solved, only 2 matching, or none matching. By matching I mean 2 of the same colors right next to each other. There are 5 different combinations of these for both layers. You just have to figure out which it is and put the correct faces in the front and perform the algorithm that I show. If u have any more questions just let me know😁👍
Sometimes when I solve the top and bottom I have one other side solved, but no other rows. It looks like your cubes does at 5:17. What should I do from here?
2:56 Yellow side/ step 2:46 7:26 Case 1 , matching side: 7:42 Case 2, bottom layer solved: 8:33 Case 3, two colour's in bar on top layer and bottom 9:21 Case 4, one bar on bottom: 10:00 Case 4, no bars: 10:29
Write them down and perform them over and over until you don’t need to look at the notes. Then take a break and see if u can still do it without the notes.
I have this weird thing where I have one side solved, one side unsolved and cannot do anything with it and the other two sides are bars with for example one green piece on the top right. I'll describe it to you *Blue side* (Solved) *Orange side* (orange bar at the top, bottom left green, bottom right orange) *Green side* (green bar at the top and an orange and a red at the bottom) *Red side* (red bar at the top, bottom left red, bottom right green) Hopefully that makes sense to you because it happens to me all the time and I don't know how to solve it.
I know which case you have. You have case 1. You need to flip the cube so that the yellow side is facing the floor and the white side is facing up. Then put the blue on the left side and perform the algorithm.
It took me a day to learn them all. It is best to write them down and take your time. 👍 also be sure to practice each one for the next few days otherwise you will forget
Im confused about case 5. I used the moves you put on the screen but I keep getting bars everywhere. I watched you do it but you turned right into you instead of away which also confusing unless I'm missing something.
My best tip is to physically write the algorithms down on paper then repeatedly perform the alg about 10-15 times or until you don’t need to look at the paper any more. Then wait a while and see if you can remember the alg without the paper if you can do that then you have memorized it. 👍
