I got the Tribit a couple days ago. Love it. So much that I bought a second one to keep in my truck to use when out and about. Sounds amazing for its size plus it’s a power bank. The price makes it damn near a bargain
Thank you for your awesome video! At 60% volume I truly could not hear a difference between the two speakers, but when you raised volume to 100% the Bose got processed/muddy sounding and the Tribit came to life with much fuller sound than the Bose. I think I will replace my Bose with a new Tribit!
Bose is known for boosting the bass and limited highs which is why some people say it sounds warmer but some of us like a balanced sound. Tribit has a more balanced sound with balance highs and meds for this size and you can't beat the price compared to Bose
bose has a fuller bass but tribit sounds a little more exciting and is better suited to being played flat on its back because of its brighter nature. there is an issue with the bose reducing vocals on bass heavy sections of a track then increasing them again as bass gets calmer. can be annoying.
Tribit do a really good job at mantaining the loudeness flat. It only compress when the vocals are to strong and the speaker has to reduce. The internal eq is set to increase bass 18DB and overall mids and highs 14DB, measured using audacity with tones
Still, I would say that the best sounding speaker in this pocket class is the Vifa City (minirig mini 2 is slightly too big). But tribit is next level for the price and durability...
Listened to both through professional studio cans. At 60% bose definitly owned it with clarity and punch. While the tribit had a weird hi mids that sounded hollow and lacked body and punch. But at 100% the tribit came to life with great clarity and resonance. Sounded great. While the Bose sounded over compressed and dull. A bit lifeless. Ultimately it all comes down to what volume level you'll listen at
I have two (2) Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 Wireless Portable Speakers already and I was trying to figure out a way to justify the difference the cost. I use them on my e-bikes and I'm going 25 mph faster and the wind noise alone would make it irrelevant the difference. I was simply wondering if there was more but maybe I'm not aware. I'll stick with now three of them! Thank you very much!!! 👍😎
El tribit sin duda tiene mas volumen, se escucha mas el bajo y aparte tiene ecualizador que es de gran ayuda, el bose es muy parecido a jbl, el sonido viene en V, por lo que carecen de medios altos.
The tribit wins for better sound, and it can handle 100% volume way better than bose. I think the response is the tecnology used on the two. This speakers are equalized for bass boosted and oveallar sound boost. That's why at max volume there is compression. The speaker has to reduce the sound to not brake the speaker because it cant play boosted. When the bass comes, bose reduces the bass but also reduces some mids and highs, while tribit only reduces the bass and mantain mids and highs. I think this tecnology shoud be applied on other brands and also, i would like to see a sound boost application the works like tribit. Normally the sound boost applications reduces overall sound in high volume musics instead of the note that is to high. Thanks for the time :)
I hv both. Tribit sounds good. But! Any small speaker can sound sharp/good. But the bass coming out from the bose is something no other manufacturers can do or even comes close to. For me bose wins hands down.

But given you can get two Tribits for the price of the Bose, there is no comparison really. And that's exactly what I did, and I have a super compact stereo system.
They can do that too! Bose just boost bass and lowers the highs, that‘s why they sound like crap in high volumes! Other brands simply don‘t do that because they want that their speaker sounds good! If you like a defined, clean sound like a song should sound, then go for other brands like tribit! Bose simply isn‘t good in audio quality!
Just got me 2 today and they are way better than buying a sony, monster neck speaker. I zip tide them on my running backpack (top left and right shoulder) and walk, hike and run etc. Listening to audio described movies, music, podcast and audiobooks sound excellent and i use at low volume since near my ears. The battery lasts for days. How to custom eq? I have a measuring mic and want to flatten the frequencies. Is there an app that can eq all audio coming out of apple phone?
tribit is louder but not better, will you consider adding a 3 rd test (or replacing on of these 2 equal loudness test) at matching volume (77 db for example) thanks
I’ve heard that the app is a piece of 💩. At least so far… So I don’t think the app can be use as a selling point. Luckily it sounds good right out the box
I can't believe how many people think either of these tiny speakers are going to perform well. They're not intended to sound wonderful and fully balanced, they're intended use is mainly for convenience, and safety to some degree. Both these small Bluetooth speakers (and most small Bluetooth speakers, if not all, for that matter) use some amount of processing to minimize audible distortion as much as possible.
Bose Micro is a great speaker for its size but the problem is that this model is old. I dunno why Bose still producing it instead of making new gen Micro.
BOSE needs to update this speaker already the Tribit is a better value in November they are releasing this speaker in red color available November 17,2023. Great video love that follow me song.
I have a Bose Soundlink mini 2 and Tribit micro 2. Two different class of speakers, and so, no comparison. Sounlink wins. Today i bought another Tribit micro2 for TWS. Oh boy! What an experience! Bose wins again. And then, i read the internet and adjusted the equaliser setting. Bose now can retire gracefully.
@@techbuyer Bass is not comparable. Bose has a very soothing bass, something just about perfect. Make no mistake, I love the Bose one, but I feel Tribit, once adjusted, is more soothing and clearer.
Just got the micro 2 for $40, I also like how they built it with screws holding it together which makes repairs much more easier, unlike other brands who glue their speakers together and if you need some battery replacement you have to damage the thing just to pry it open.
Tribit is better especially outside as you need it to sparkle to match the outside noises. Bose is richer but less volume and less sparkle because they are bose ... They are bit more audiophile.
Ok Bose sounds better at lower volume, sounds cleaner, smoother and more composed. At 100% there's no comparison Tribit seems designed for high volume. But realistically, I have about 7 portability speakers and not ONE has ever been played at 100%, maybe 60% at the most. I usually listen to my music around 20 to 40% regularly.
Wtf it‘s the complete opposite 💀 the bose is completly bass boosted but lacks in highs extremely! Tribit sounds balanced in bass, mids and highs, so it sounds more defined and way, way cleaner! When soundquality is important for you and you wanna hear music like it should sound, then bose simply can‘t compare! Bose sounds „warm“ because of the low highs, but in terms of „quality“ in sound the brand bose is complete shit, espacially for the price! That is why every sound engineer don‘t like this brand and say that it‘s crap! 😅 They all say that bose can two things good, one is that they look good and second is that they can sell crap speaker for a lot of money ! And if you go to higher volumes, the bose compressed a lot and sounds completely ugly in comparison ! 😅
Y'all sleep on tribit...they make some of the best Bluetooth speakers,there are ppl who like name brand and there's ppl who like paying for less and getting way more and in this case it's tribit..I'm about to get one for my biking days..

Well I think for the price and I've had mine for over a year in this lasted pretty good and fared very well I would have to go with tribute when it comes to longevity you would be surprised for the price I will say when I consider it I plan on getting the updated version myself even though I bought two of the version 1 tribit one and give one away as a gift
I always knew that bose speakers sounds muddy, muffled, cringe bc of the inconsistency after you heard those speakers at every volume level, but this is a true shame. You know what that means? Bose gonna upgrade their speakers to have a bit better sound than the tribit. (They had to realize that they are fighting with a tribit🤌🏻 at this point 😂) or whichever is better in the competition with the target speaker, and label it with the same, 2,5x price tag. People should forget about bose, really. Unworthy to buy it. When the little bit better Bose Micro 2 is out, i’ll buy 2 stormbox micro 2 and still save like… 25-30$ And enjoy a better audio overall, now in stereo😃 Unworthy to buy Bose.

That new titanium driver really gives a little more power .. it feels more expensive than bose because of that performance.
Also the best part for the tribit is the price of course, you could buy two of them for one bose, heck, I could buy 3 of them for a single bose

If there was an app that has the tribit tecnholgy we would have jbl clip, jbl go, sony sb10, 12 with way way better sound ::))

bose sounds bassier and the treble is a bit on the back while the tribit offers more robust sound overall

Bose sounds much richer and less like a can. Bose has also that creamy sound. Tribit is not bad but bose are experts in sound...
Bose fell apart when it went over 60%, sounded incredibly muddy over that.
